The worst place you can go to

AVOID this clinic if you can!The nurse practitioner insisted on re-doing my thyroid lab only 4 months after the last one with no medical reason what so ever (It's usually once a yr and has been this way for the last 8 yrs i've had this thyroid condition)So then, the medical assistant busted my vein so badly while drawing blood; my whole arm was purple for a week afterwards. I felt like a guinea pig she was practicing on. (For labs I did not require in the first place)While waiting in the exam room for the ''nurse'' to come back, I could clearly hear the staff talking about their personal life and complaining about work related issues. Then, I ( as well as the rest of the patients i'm sure) could hear them talk about my visit and drawing my blood ect. I'm pretty sure that's a HIPPA violation.They NEVER call back when they say they will and good luck reaching ANYONE form the office.Got some surprise bills in the mail a week later after being told as a self pay patient that the co-pay included labs.They all drop the ball and have very poor work ethics.This clinic needs to be shut down!

A complete joke! Wait times to speak to someone is ridiculous. ALWAYS! Wait time for an appointment...Ridiculous! You never speak to the same person and EVERYONE drops the ball there. I had an appointment that took a month to get. Then they cancelled the day of. Trying to get a prescription refill is impossible. They won't refill you without seeing you, yet there are NEVER available to see you. I have now dealt with 7 different people there and still cannot get a simple refill. Each person says they will take care of it and 3 weeks and 7 phone calls later no refill. And yes, they do put you on hold for long lengths of time then you get "disconnected" and have to start back over. Should be shut down!

The customer care here is abysmal. I've been a patient here for several years and it wasn't too bad until Advance Health Care took over, now it is terrible. The problem isn't the health care team it's the office staff/administration. Wait times just to make an appointment over the phone can easily take half an hour before you even speak to an operator. The operator {when you finally do get one} are often rude to the point of being hostile. I once asked to speak with a nurse about a health concern and was told "No". At my next appointment I told the nurse about it and she said "They can't do that!", but, they did. At my last appointment I was kicked in the hip by a child doing cartwheels in the waiting area. I mentioned this to the nurse who said, "The security guard is supposed to keep things like that from happening, but all he does is sit there." The man sitting behind the clinic desk at the time identified himself as the clinic's manager did nothing although he had a clear view of what was happening. I ended up with a bruise the size of an orange. The staff know that these are problems and have received numerous complaints for months and absolutely nothing has improved. My best advice is to avoid this place if at all possible.

I have been going to this facility for the past couple of years and find them most helpful. Referrals for me have been legitimate. The front desk always has a smile for me. Just remember folks, this is a community health center, thus busy!

Just moved to the area, my new insurance told me to make them my primary care provider. Called on friday, there was 35 people ahead of me on the phone, so I hung up because I didnt have time. Called back on monday, 28 people ahead of me in line to set up an appointment. Ive been on hold for over an hour and am still on hold and I havent even set up an appointment. I absolutely refuse to do business here and wait on hold everytime I have a question or need an appointment. Im calling my insurance right now to change doctors.

Sad excuse for a medical practice, all they do is refer you out to others, the "dr." doesn't listen, and forget it if you need paperwork filled out. I have fibromyalgia, and have tried all of the usual treatments, to no avail, I also have several slipped discs, arthritis, and a cyst in my sacral sac, when I asked what I could do aboout the pain, the "dr." said shecould only give me ibuprofen, she didn't eve check the points.They couldn't even get my last name right! Cancelling my follow up and referrals as I type this review.

The're are some people that work in the front that have that I don't care attitude. Why work in a healthcare setting if you don't care about people. I hate coming here and avoid it if I can. The review before me said it good about them not having communication. There really is none.
