Its a hospital you either need them or you dont.
Hi this is Crystal actually and I took my daughter to er the dr name is Welch we are still here but the problem is when the dr came in and I was trying to explain to him what was going on with my daughter about where she had hurt her hand he cut me off and said I dont care about that we will get pictures and stormed out of the room very rude how ever the nurse and the peoplefrom imaging was very nice and we didnt half to wait long but that dr really needs to go if I had away I would have left and went some where that actually cares about the patients
My husband was brought in to ER on Memorial Day with shoulderchest pain and shortness of breath. The staff in ER was very busy as it was an extra stressful day to say the least. We did have a wait but during that time he received excellent care. Even though we dont have insurance he received all test that was needed to get an answer. Doctor Rody was very knowledgeable and caring. He made me feel that my husband was in good hands.Even the Ambulance drivers Donald Brooks and Brandon Patrick checked on us several times. We were Blessed to receive such good care. From the in Er the Monitor Unit 2nd floor to the ladies cleaning our room YOU ALL ARE AMAZING THANK YOU FOR ALL YOU DO FOR EVERYONEI also want to mention Dr. Dieter Wefuan for caring about my husband. Thank You.Proud to be in Ashe County where we all care about each other.God Bless you each and everyone
You can’t ever get anyone to answer the phone. I can’t get anyone to call me back. The one time I was able to get ahold of them they said they would call me back and they never did. I was disappointed from previous visits but it seems like everyday it gets worse there.
Its our first time at Ashe Memorial and it will certainly be our last time My wife and I rushed out son here to get an xray on his thumb to make sure it wasnt broken...Long story short it took almost 4 hours for him to be seen by a doctor Thank God it was anything more serious or life threatening Thats unacceptable for a child to wait for treatment.I understand that sometimes a hospital can get busy and I dont blame any one particular person however best believe that we will definitely take the trip either to Boone Wilkes or even Charlotte to look for treatment rather than come to a place20 mins from our house to get care
So kind courteous efficient.
Overall kind timely and great communication. Loved all the staff Dr Hill was fantastic
Whoever answers the phone in imaging is extremely rude If you can’t be friendly find another job Instead of helping me she had a major attitude. I’ll find somewhere else to have my procedure done.
Good service
Two weeks ago I visited the ER at this hospital. I was the victim of a serious dog attack and unfortunately sustained significant injuries. On arrival I was greeted courteously promptly taken back and almost immediately attended. Dr. Hill was superb as was the ER nurse Julie?. These fine health care professionals treated my wounds and assisted in reporting the incident to animal control. Im still recovering but doing much better which I put down to the excellent treatment from this hospital.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
