I have saw Doctor Powers since I was 15, I am now 28. He has preformed three back surgeries on my lower back the last being Feb 27th 23’.You may wonder why so many but that is because I have degenerative disc disease. He has amazing bedside manner and will fight for you with insurance! His team April and Jamie also are great, April took time to answer questions on a weekend and check a prior authorization. Jamie put to with me calling 20xs and asking questions & wasn’t rude once.I followed him to his new location that is and hour further for me and referred several people to him. If everyone has gave up on you he & his team won’t!

Dr. Powers performed a lower back fusion on me in late 2020. I had been experiencing lower back pain for years. My quality of life greatly improved. I can now walk two miles a day and have no trouble walking on the beach. Recently I began experiencing some lower back pain again. He diagnosed the problem and has set a course of treatment which includes visits with Dr. Bryant, a pain specialist. Dr. Powers is thorough, professional, and actually cares about his patients. He does not rush through the appointment and makes sure you understand what is going on. When I first called to get an appointment with Dr. Powers I spoke with April Hayes. She is kind, highly efficient, and knows insurance. She can answer any question and if she doesn’t know the answer she will find out and get back to you. Jaime makes you feel at ease immediately. She has a calm demeanor and is very good at her job. All in all my experience with Dr. Powers and his staff is very positive. He and his staff are super.
