Worst hospital Ive been too
Your phone service is bull crap every time I get transferred to someone it hangs me up
Loved my experience here. Dr. and nurse staff was very nice and caring. Was seen right away and walked straight into a room. Was evaluated quickly had labs and scan done promptly. Would definitely be treated here again.
Worst ER I’ve been to. I got admitted at 947 pm yesterday night because I was having excruciating eye pain and spent 6 hours in the waiting room. I left at 352am didn’t see any doctor or heard from anyone. Just horrible service. Like I understand if there was only one doctor or something but at least tell me so I can at least find another ER . Cause that was just horrible
The last 2 times that my 80 year old Mother had to visit the ER were horrible I know they are busy but a little compassion goes a long way Imagine waiting in a wheel chair 8+ hours with people coming and going all around you in the lobby.
If I could provide a negative star rating I would. I visited the ED in April 2021 it is now August 2021 and im still fighting a payment that my insurance has confirmed that I do not need to pay and have sent a letter to have them correct the error. The doctors that work in Novants ED are contractors and dont actually work for Novant. I didnt know this while I was a patient and in the ED however each doctor I encounter had unbelievably bad bedside manner which lead to the worst ED visit I have ever experienced.About 3 weeks after my visit I received a bill from PaymentsMD for over $1300. This bill was from the company the doctors are employed by. So my insurance paid Novant for the ED facilities but I was receiving a bill for the doctors. After doing some research I found out that my insurance actually already paid PaymentsMD and they are trying to get two payments and bill me as well. I have received 6 bills in the mail I have tried calling to tell them its incorrect and nothing. My insurance sent a letter informing them about the error over 6 weeks ago and today I received another bill in the mail saying that my bill is past due.I am one of the lucky people that have the resources to fit this however I know there are so many people out there that dont and cant imagine the stress that is put on them.NOVANT you need to inform patients about the doctors be contractors and not actually working for the hospital before admitting them.
Great experience I was so scared after my family Dr said I should go to the emergency room the staff couldn’t have been kinder I was there a long time but the doctors and nurses and everyone else were terrific Thank you Blanche Salvestrini
First of all I want to thank Dr. Reyes for taking fantastic care of my mother. He was the best part of her visit. As a 24yr healthcare professional myself I do understand all about inpatient and outpatient care. My mother was admitted on Saturday and she was discharged today. She spent 7 days in the Kernersville Novant Medical Center. She was taken to emergency surgery on Sunday and was not gotten out of the bed unless she needed to use the restroom. She waited extremely long times to even go to the bathroom. She is deaf she has a cochlear implant that does not help her hear as much as it should. This leaves her to be a very quiet person. I went to walk with my mother last night for 1 lap around the 3rd floor unit. When we got back the rude nurse she had all week said she was not supposed to be walking because she did not know if there was an order for her to walk. This is a problem for me she has been here 6 days and you have been with her every single night except for 2 and you do not know whether your post OP abdominal surgery patient can walk when she is high functioning? Instead we leave the patient in the bed for 7 days without offering to help her walk. I left my 12 hour shift every night to go bathe her because she was never offered a bath. Here again the post OP patient with the huge abdominal incision does not need a bath? When I entered the unit I always said hi and no one would speak. This was the rudest group of people Ive ever been in contact with in healthcare. The most disturbing part of this is I am a part of healthcare. I know COVID has been disheartening to all of us. Our help was taken from us instead of given to us. I get it 100%. I see about 25 patients every night and regardless of their needs I would never neglect any of them. If I cannot get to it I delegate what I need to my team and they do the same. I remember being a student at Novant and I knew I would never seek employment with them because of their insensitive attitudes tword others. I am an only child and I do everything for my mother when she is sick. My sons and I always go in and take care of her especially to help out the staff just because I am understanding of what goes on. She is never needy and she is very independent. She is the most caring and nicest person anyone could ever meet. She always does what is right in life. Her belief in others is irreplaceable and the fact that she was treated this way at a place she requested to seek medical care at is extremely sad to me. She deserved so much more. We had a discussion regarding her care and she will never come back to this hospital again. She cried during her stay because no one would help her. No sick patient should ever have to experience that. I truly hope no one else has this experience. She has another surgery that is needed she will go elsewhere to seek care.
Doc on Sat am shift July 10th at this ER was extremely rude and unhelpful. Discovered the problem via cat scan but got no resolution besides to go see a specialist... the whole reason I went to ER was because I was in that much pain or I would have just waited til the following week for my specialist apt .
Dont ever go to the hospital they are slow and the physicians are rude in the er. Rude rude and rude

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
