I was checked by Dr. Hill after being admitted to North Florida Putnam Community Medical Center with chest pains. Dr. Hill was thorough, personable and took time to explain clearly my diagnosis.
The best experience at an ophthalmology office in a long time. One technician performs many exams and tests before you are brought to Dr. Hill’s exam room. Olivia was professional and thorough. It was a very disciplined experience. Dr. Hill’s exam was the same way. He performed some tests I have not experienced at my other doctor’s office. His recommendation re cataract surgery was calm. He did not try to convince me to undergo it as has been done before. The entire appointment did take about 2 hours but it is taken up with your technician and the doctor and time for the drops to dilate. It is an expected wait time and no different in any other practice. I’m relieved that I decided to change doctors and come to Dt. Hill.
Dr. Hill was my doctor for years...!!! then I got married had children and he continued to look after us with such professionalism. Him and Rina (his sidekick), were a great team. Me and my family miss them... very hard to find a doctor like him, good listener, very caring, smart and like all of us... very human.
Fantastic visits with this doctor. Had me diagnosed, treated and curedu all in one visit one time. He even had the best medicine as samples right there with him in his bag. I even got to save a $100 in pharmacy costs. The needle he gave me was painful but by God I was a new man next day. I’m keeping him for the rest of my life. Too bad it’s so hard to get in to see him.
Negative. ?He was upset that I called the weekend answering service because of blood in my eye and new floaters and flashers after eyelid procedure performed by another doctor in his practice. On Monday morning, his exam was rough, he provided very minimal patient information, but did say that my problem was 'nothing'. That evening I ended up in ER due to bleeding. And the next night was transported to ER by ambulance, needed cauterization Weds morning. I share this for the safety of others.
My first visit with Dr. Hill was (I want to say) back in the late 70's. He was a fantastic Dr. Always there for me and mine. Helped me through a multitude of my health problems. He was genuine, professional, accommodating, knowledgeable, kind. It was like going home to visit whenever I would see him and Rina. I trusted Dr. Hill with, not only my health, but the health of my mother, my son and ex husband's as well. Rina was like his side kick. :) This was more than a job to her and the patients loved her for her kindness and positive manner. I miss them both. There will never be a team like that again. Doctors now a days just don't make the grade, in my opinion. I wish you (Dr. Hill) and Rina all the best. And thank-you for being such a bright spot in my life for so many years. Blessings Heather, Etobicoke

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
