Dr Chang is one of the best! Very compassionate, caring and Knowledgeable! I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Chang is the best RE doctor you can find. He is knowledgable, kind, caring and very insightful. I cannot thank him enough for helping me to get pregnant after 5 years of infertility. We saw a few fertility doctors before him and none of them compare to Dr. Chang. He always checked on me and encouraged me even when I felt like I couldn’t do it anymore and he always believed in us. His bedside manners are excellent and his assistant Ming was always on top of the things too. Our problem was egg quality, but Dr. Chang made a perfect tailored IVF protocol with minimum side effects for me after I had my first not-so-successful IVF with a previous doctor. I am so thankful that he was able to be my doctor and that now we are pregnant. We highly recommend him! Thank you Dr. Chang for everything.

He lied to me over the phone about a finding on a diagnostic ultrasound test (COVID - all consults were phone-based). It was a crucial test that I based my decision on proceeding with my funded IVF cycle and resulted in a not very successful, difficult retrieval. I explicitly questioned him about the worst-case scenario happening during that call since my previous RE who left TRIO warned me that could happen. However, he was adamant that was not what the test results indicated. Lo and behold, after I asked his admin to send me a copy of the test result after the retrieval went south - the report clearly indicated in black and white the opposite of what he told me over the phone. Since this conversation was over the phone, it becomes my word against his, so I never pursued this further with the CPSO or TRIO. Beware and ask to actually see copies of your tests and reports.

Dr. Chang is truly an amazing REI. I conceived naturally with my first child, but due to my PCOS, I had some trouble conceiving my second. I was referred to Dr. Chang who monitored my cycle and concluded I could naturally ovulate (though, delayed) and just needed some medication to help the process along. He gave me one round of Letrozole and I was able to become pregnant. He is very thorough and straightforward. He checked my husband thoroughly before treating me because he wanted to ensure he checked all the boxes. I truly appreciated this. Ming, his secretary is also amazing. She stays on top of appointments and is very kind in her correspondence. I would recommend Dr. Chang to anyone.

Dr. Chang participated in our care for a number of years. He was very straight forward and transparent about the IVF process. We appreciated his honesty, patience, and knowledge. He was always optimistic yet real about the potential outcomes. We believe that this helped us emotionally prepare for the journey we were embarking on. Ultimately we were unable to produce a viable embryo after undergoing 2 rounds of IVF with TRIO. However, the care and attention that we received from Dr. Chang, Ming, and all of the nursing staff was amazing! I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Chang and the TRIO clinic for anyone dealing with infertility. After a long and exhausting journey/struggle with infertility we are proud to say that we now have a healthy, beautiful baby boy! He was conceived naturally during the Covid-19 Pandemic. As soon as we became pregnant, we contacted Dr. Chang. He was more than willing to take us on for the initial care prior to being referred to an OBGYN. We felt great comfort in knowing that we were being monitored during the early stages of our pregnancy We would like to thank Dr. Chang for his constant encouragement and support. We definitely feel like he had a hand in making our dreams of becoming parents a reality.

I am an old patient of Dr. Chang. Although I was not able to conceive (abnormal embryos), Dr. Chang and his team are wonderful. Being single and having self funded the first IVF, Dr. Chang was able to get funding for my medication for the second IVF. Although he does not sugar coat things, he was extremely patient. I do miss the Team terribly. The nurses were really nice to me, helping with an injection or two. Ming is also on top of booking all appointments. Initially, I was able to email Dr. Chang my questions. He was extremely responsive even well after hours. Unfortunately, the clinic changed their protocols. Dr. Chang cares about his patient and goes above and beyond. On all the surgical appointments, all the Dr's were great. They were friendly and upbeat.

Dr. Chang was so wonderful to my husband and I. When we were ready to give up, he brought us hope, and made sure we knew he was with us every step of the way no matter what the outcome would be. He always looked at the glass half full , and made sure we did too. Giving us countless advice on what to do when the decisions just seemed so hard. He was very thorough and detailed on the processes. We knew what was happening, what medications I needed and suggesting we think outside the box. This isnt our first go at fertility treatments, but it is our first at Trio, and I am so grateful we got Dr. Chang as our Dr, cause without him we wouldn't have our little girl on our first try with our only one embryo. The way he and his team of nurses took care of us throughout our journey was nothing short of amazing. Always there for me/us when I needed them, and holding my hand when it was needed. We highly recommend Dr. Chang.

Dr. Chang is an excellent doctor! We were with him a short time but it truly was a great experience. He is knowledgeable, kind, caring, realistic and asks the right questions. One thing he said to us that really made us feel like we were in great care is that every month of trying for a baby mattered and he was right. Our goal was IVF but in months where we didn't meet the criteria, he converted the cycles into IUIs and that just made us feel like we weren't wasting our time. He consistently made me/us feel comfortable. We are grateful to have had this journey with such a good doctor and would highly recommend him! See you for baby #2 Dr. Chang!

Dr. Chang is generally nice and he’s objective; however, he tends to be very dramatic at times. He prides himself in being an honest physician who doesn’t sugar-coat things. This is true; however, at times this comes across as an extreme lack of empathy and compassion. For example, after getting the call the day after my retrieval that only 2 of my 7 retrieved eggs were fertilized, I was extremely upset and probably experiencing the most heightened emotion ever in my life. I asked the nurse who called me why and how this happened, and asked if maybe the embryologist was having an off-day. After her and I hung up, Dr. Chang called me to scold me for saying "hurtful" things to his team. He said I "went for the jugular" and that I "could sit at home and blame the lab all I wanted but Trio’s pregnancy rates were great." Him on his soap box 10 minutes after my world came crashing down was extremely inappropriate. I was simply asking a question. On the positive side, he is very thorough and answers all questions. The morning of my retrieval I had sent his assistant a list of questions I needed answered, and he came down to see me in the OR to talk to me and answer my questions. He does tell all his patients he wishes success for them. He's a good reproductive endocrinologist, he just seems to get very defensive with patients and maybe forgets how life-changing this journey will be for them (for better or worse).

Amazing doctor! First time going through the IVF process and any time I had a question I would email his secretary just thinking that I would receive an email back only to receive a phone call from him personally(within an hour or 2) and he would answer all my questions and made sure I I was comfortable with his answer which I always was! This is the first time I have ever rated a doctor before but he deserves a perfect score because he is simply an amazing and understanding doctor and I think everyone who has the chance to be his patient will not be disappointed.
