He is presently working the ER at Stanly Regional Medical Center where I recently went for care. He took less than a passing interest in my symptoms and ordered tests that were not appropriate. When I questioned the tests he orderded the staff left to ask him for the answers to my questions and returned to tell me "they were not necessary". It was a slow time in the ER and I observed him chatting with female staff members instead of attending to the couple of patients in the ER.The ER staff were all very attentive and responsive unlike Dr. Handler.
