Horrible doctor and person Ignored my husbands renal cell cancer symptoms Do not trust your healthcare to him

This doctor has no beside manners and hates his patients. He saw my husband for several months and could have cared less that he had renal cell cancer. He kept telling him it wasnt urgent and wouldnt answer our questions and when he did he made us feel stupid. We are educated people and we are glad that he is NOT at Novant anymore He should not e taking care of patients

Dr Cook saved my father in laws life when they battled prostate cancer together17 years ago. He preserved his life and his urinary function. He again maintained my father in laws life quality when he battled bladder cancer at age 92 until age 92. My father in law passed away May 6 2018 with nothing but respect for this absolutely caring and skilled surgeon and physician. Thank you for 17 years of care.

Absolutely obnoxious and arrogant As others have said....worst bedside manner Ive ever seen. Talks to patients like they are idiots....talks over them....asks questions and if you dont answer fast enough he gets annoyed and starts talking down to you. Doesnt have the time of day to care for anyone but his egotistical self Rudeness abounds....hes the type of guy who seems like he goes out with his buddies after work and complains and laughs while he talks about his patients...NONCARING

I would not recommend Dr. Cook to friends or family He was cocky and rude and rushed through our appointment. He would ask a question and then not wait for the answer. We felt railroaded. The rest of the staff in the office is courteous.

Drive to Chapel Hill or Duke. Guy is an insensitive. Jerk. No bedside manner. Not someone i want to care for my father. How could someone who works in healthcare be so noncaring in front of a patient. Karma will catchup to this guy...

Best side manner is poor. I practically had to beg for him to take me seriously after spending 2 months in pain off and on. Scan not xray said I wasnt crazy. Had the stones removed within the week. I would not even see him for the follow up.
