List of David W. Weisgerber's Reviews
I had been seen by several physicians without having my illness identified then Dr. Weisgerber diagnosed my condition and explained the illness and treatment to me. Frye Regional Medical Center is lucky to have him.
This doctor is a nightmare. He talks a good game at first in the ER but quickly turns a deaf ear to the family and nurses who try to inquire or share important information about the patient. He refuses to bring in consulting specialists and haphazardly writes Rx dosages. He insulted our family and was extremely cold and heartless. The care he provided sent our loved one spiraling downhill. We made a terrible mistake by agreeing for this doctor to provide care to our family member. I am writing this so you will not do the same.
This man is an absolute disgrace to the medical community. He is a vulture at Frye hospital emergency department that preys on unsuspecting victims. I had to get patient advocacy and the chief medical director involved to save my Mom from Weisgerber. He is not capable to handle people with serious illness and is too prideful to admit it. However I wasnt going to let his pride hurt my Mom and took matters into my own hands and took the appropriate steps to go over his head.
This guy is an absolute joke to the medical community. My mother was admitted to Frye through the emergency department and unfortunately was seen by Weisgerber. She has very poor health and he was too prideful to admit he couldnt care for her properly. I had to get patient advocacy involved and the chief medical director stepped in to save my Mom from Weisgerber. He is deplorable and should just hang his coat up and go home to a guilty conscience knowing he is hurting people.
My mother in law age 97 left the hospital in worst shape than she came in. He changed her blood pressure medicine which made her blood pressure go up to 205. He also left orders to the rehab center to remove her cold turkey from her antianxiety medication she has been on for a couple of years. Any doctor who has any sense knows you do not do that. In my opinion this Dr. is dangerous to patients and needs to hang up his white coat.
This doctor is inattentive and sloughs off patients health problems especially if they are elderly. He passes serious medical problems off as just old age. That lack of caring landed my 90 year old Dad in the ER with a serious infection because Dr. Weisgerber refused to look at the problem.
I wish that I read the previous comment about ..never putting any elderly patients in his path. .. before my 90 year old Dad got in his path. He did not bother to look at my Dads severely infected knee less than a week before he had to go to the ER and later that day be admitted for severe infection in both legs either staff or MRSA. Dr. Weisberger dismissed it as old age. He is quick to use that diagnosis and prescribe one more prescription instead of treating the patient.
admits own patients to the hospital hard to find these days
My father inlaw was in Frye Hospital. Dr. Weisgerber was his doctor. This man is the rudest most sarcastic person that we have ever dealt with. He is very unprofessional when dealing with patients families. He had the audacity to mock our concerns. I can only surmise that he does not care about the patients he is in it for the money only. So I would never recommend him to anyone. I think that our beagle is treated with more respect at the Vet.
This doctor has a very bad bedside manner. He is rude and very sarcastic. I would never recommend anyone putting their elderly family member in his path.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
