List of Robert M. Dacus Iv's Reviews
Dr. Dacus missed my fibroid tumor diagnosis. My IUD had become displaced when he tried to reinsert a new one he was met with resistance. Instead of brainstorming why he could not reinsert the IUD he did nothing. I resumed my menses and had extremely heavy bleeding with very painful cramping. It took him a few months to do an ultrasound which revealed multiple large fibroid tumors that required surgery to remove.
Dr. Dacus delivered my son via csection and did a wonderful job. Loved being his patient. Then I started having chronic issues that was worsening and causing interference in my life. I saw him probably 15 times in 4 years asking for help. Was never offered lidocaine for exams despite horrendous pain. He never really tried to figure out why I was having issues just told me it was my new normal.. Actually once joked about mixing wine and muscle relaxers to loosen up and preserve my marriage. Hes a wonderfully friendly man...but he did NOT try to help me. Womens pain and health issues should be taken seriously Dr. Dacus
I will never go back to him or recommend him. He was doing a simple procedure on me and I told him the numbing did not take and that he was hurting me and to please stop several times and he continued on and ended up cutting me where he wasn’t suppose to needless to say I ended up in the er due to so much bleeding when he should have stopped when I said STOP.
He seems really good so far full of information answers all my questions as a first time pregnancy.
He delivered my son 18 years ago and did my hysterectomy 8 years ago. He was also very courteous to my mother during my surgery as he kept her informed throughout the procedure. He has always been professional with me and I completely trust his decisions.
I really felt at ease with Dr. Dacus and he is extremely knowledgeable about pregnancys. Im glad i went with this doctor as i was nervous having a male. Im not sure why all the negative reviews as he specializes in preganancys and difficult labors. I wouldnt have trusted anyone else.
Dr. Dacus is very professional and I highly recommend him if you are looking for an OBGYN. I hadn’t been for a physical in quite some time and was nervous on my first visit. He came in and talked with me before the exam. He clearly explained everything and made me feel at ease.
Overshares about his family and personal life. Made a mistake about an issue I was having and made mistakes with a family members health too. Never going back to this guy.
I have been going here since I found out I was pregnant he gave me a due date of July 16 at first now hes saying for me to wait til Aug 17 to do my c section bc I am having to have repeat c section.... Im not sure what to do or say to him
I would never recommend this horrible so called doctor He was very rude and had me pushing too early because he was in a hurry 2 and a half hours of pushing and then he cuts me clear through the wall of separation. Had to have reconstructive surgery to function like a normal human being again. That was done by a different Doctor needless to say... RUN RUN RUN He is the WORST OBGYN around. DO NOT GO TO HIM FOR YOUR BABY AND FOR YOU HE IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL WITH HIS LACK OF CARE

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
