I drive all the way from Roseboro to come to this eye doctor, They are just that amazing. The staff is always so friendly and upbeat. They treat you with respect and are understanding! You should come check them out. I’ve always had a great experience! And they are LBGTQ friendly!❤️
We will not be going back here. I will not tolerate paying a 3% fee to use my card when I’m paying over $200 worth in there practice.
Friendly staff.
I can't speak for the service or staff, as my wife was the patient. But I can tell you to save a fortune and go to MyEyeDr instead. Now we know why our usual place was booked out for months, and this place got her right in for an exam. What a ripoff! I'm disgusted.
I scheduled an appointment for 4:00pm. I got an email confirmation that said my appointment was scheduled and confirmed for 4:15pm. I also got a confirmation call a few days before the appointment and the woman also said 4:15 so I thought ok maybe I booked it for 4:15. I show up at 4:20 and was told unfortunately my appointment was at 4 and I couldn’t be seen. I told the front desk employee that I had an email and phone confirmation that said 4:15pm. Apparently the doctor was running behind schedule and I wasn’t going to be able to be seen. I had to get childcare in order for me to make this appointment and now have to find a new office and time to go since this place can’t figure a simple schedule conflict they created.
Called here on a Friday, had a thick eyelash stuck under my bottom eyelid. Drove all the way from Sanford. I have four insurance coverages, they charged me 45.?! Whenever I go to a specialist, I'm not even charged. So, anyway the optometrist looks around in my eye, can't find the eyelash anywhere. Well, I get home and look, it's still there, right where I told her it was! So, basically I paid her, to do her job myself! I definitely won't trust these people to do my eye exam.
I am so thankful that I found Dr. Brett Miller! I have been suffering from anxiety while driving for eight years. She listened to all of my concerns and diagnosed me with Binocular Vision Disorder. I am very excited that she is adding a sphere to my lenses to assist me with correcting this problem. Dr. Miller also recommend specialty physical therapy that is closer to my home. I never felt rushed and finally found someone that really LISTENED to me! It’s evident that she truly cares for her patients and loves her job. I would definitely recommend her for all of your eye care needs.
Although I’ve used my local TVO since it’s more convenient, I have to throw some love for my last visit at this office in 2020 during Covid. I miss Dr. Colborn and staff, so if you’re in the Lillington, NC area, see her and say hello. They are so wonderful and caring!! Very happy to have had fantastic experiences with both offices in Lillington and Havelock.
I had scratched the surface of my eye, was a walk in. I received quick, courteous, and efficient care. Recommend to everyone.
Lexington Location: Both eye doctors were great. Dr. Gesford was wonderful with my children. The office staff not so much. The manager especially would not even let my son get his glasses adjusted without a mask. Both of my kids had previously been in without a mask to get their exam. They have collectively lost their minds over this virus when you discriminate and treat a 12 year old boy like a leper because he cannot wear a mask. The office manager and staff were super rude over this issue. I had to call their corporate office and still the issue was not resolved to my liking. I was going to try them again because my kids liked the doctor so much, but they no longer accept our insurance so I am left to find a new eye doctor anyway. Meant to be I guess! I do not recommend these people as a whole. The Thomasville location was not much better when we tried to get his glasses adjusted a second time because the Lexington office didn't do it right the first time.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
