Dr. Weisner did my surgery and I highly recommend him. His office staff was great as well.

While I have not met the physician himself,my husband has seen him. However, I can tell you that it is the worst managed medical practice I've witnessed since I've lived in the Charlotte area. My husband had a very urgent urinary condition 1 week ago and his primary care physicians office sent an URGENT referral to this office. It took them thru a weekend plus to try and contact him. He ended up calling them and had to wait 50 minutes in voicemail hell for someone to answer the phone only to tell him they couldn't get him in for more than 2 months! He was insistent and so they got him in with a PA the following week. While I waited in the waiting room for him, I saw 2 different patients come in to refill prescriptions because they couldn't get thru on the phone and another that came in for an appt. and was told they didn't show an appt. for him to which he said he had a message from them indicating the appt. AND it was the second time they did this to him. He walked out. What a mess of an office and the receptionist was often rude! I'd try another urology office if I were you!

Been a patient of Dr Weisner for over 10 years and would go nowhere else. Had bladder stone surgery and BPH symptoms, which requiring simple robotic surgery a couple years later. Could not be happier with the staff at Urology Specialists of the Carolinas. Dr Weisner and Dr Yau have both done surgeries on me. The P.A.s, nursing staff and the quality of the aftercare is top notch. You know you are dealing with terrific doctors and P.A.s when the nurses in the hospital all rave about how great they are and how nice they are to work with.

Dr. Wiesner would be the last doctor I would recommend someone to. He’s the only doctor I’ve ever seen that literally could care less. He comes to me the day of my procedure and tells me and my wife it’s good to see me again when I never got to meet or even talk him until the day of the procedure. When my wife and I mentioned we’d never met him before (we had met with his PA who recommended the procedure) then he laughed it off. I was in excruciating pain after my procedure to the point I almost passed out. When I went back in to complain about the pain he yells at me and tells me to calm down. Thanks for the sympathy Doc. Total Jerk!

I find him to be a fine doctor. Takes his time with me, explains my problems. I’ve been going to him for years and hope he will remain here

Doctor is good and very approachable but office is not as efficient. One of their front office staff was very rude. Office takes forever to get tests done or get your result back. The office is putting down the capabilities of the doctor.

When my husband’s PSA number started increasing, we were able to get an appointment quickly. Dr. Weisner was friendly as well as honest in initiating treatment for a very aggressive cancer. He made referrals to cancer specialists, and with his staff, pushed our health insurance to cover necessary treatments. He made phone calls to us at times as followup to questions. We were very grateful for the excellent care and prompt action as needed to give my husband every chance to live to the maximum prognosis of 2-5 years.

My dad started seeing Dr. Weisner when he could not urinate on his own. He had to self catheterize for 2 1/2 years. Blood was in his urine during his last year and had multiple trips to the hospital and Weisner did nothing. Dad was diagnosed finally during a hospital visit with Stage 4 bladder cancer on 11-10. He died the night of 11-29. We probably should have pursued legal action but it’s not in our nature. As someone else said, run from this doctor.
