List of Atrium Health Union's Reviews
Sorriest place you can go you can be dying and they still make you sit in the waiting room over a darn hour you will die first WELCOME TO KILLER REGIONAL The ER is the sorriest
I have been sitting here for 5+ hours waiting for my boyfriend who is inside with a huge amount of blood coming out both ends and not being helped. He is yet to be helped and there are several people who are not being treated and havent been for longer hours and the nurses have all been rude yelled at people including woman who couldnt breathe and are not helping anybody in the emergency room. Worst hospital I have ever been to. I will never com here again if I could I would give zero stars.
I was beyond pleased with the care I received at Atrium Union. I had a UFE procedure and experienced a lot of pain and I felt like the nursing staff did everything they could to keep the pain under control. They were kind and caring. I couldn’t eat breakfast the next morning due to being nauseous but I did eat some lunch and it was exceptional It was nothing like the hospital food I have experienced in the past. Very impressed with everything at this hospital.
My daughter went there this morning 91521. She has pneumonia and many other health issues. Doctor sent her home with NO treatment or medication to help with pneumonia and said see PCP. I won’t list what other health issues my daughter has but because of the LACK of care from this place if something happens to my daughter I WILL seek legal counsel. NOT everything is COVID related
Do NOT CHOSE THIS HOSPITAL I chose to have a major surgery here and it was beyond horrible I stayed in the womans and childrens ward for 3 days....From day 1 to day 3 I had 1 nurse Danielle that knew what they were doing and had compassion My basic needs were NOT MET Yes they delivered my meds on time but that was it Clean linens clean bedding access to be able to even brush my teeth...NOPE A dear friend that works in another department of the hospital took care of those needs The spirometer that I had to use to clear my lungs after surgery was given to me never explained to me on my 3rd day my drs student asked if I had been using it and I said kind of because I didnt know what I was supposed to be doing the nurse brought another one to me because she thought it was broken... it wasnt They didnt know how to use it either At discharge my paperwork was set on my bed nothing was gone over with me Mind you I have a 6inch abdominal incision I waited on my husband to come back and we WALKED OURSELVES OUT OF THE HOSPITAL NOT A NURSE IN SIGHT I couldnt get out of there quick enough If you get a choice on where to seek medical care DO NOT GO HERE
I been here for going on 5 or 6 days waiting to see an infectious disease doctor that apparently is never here apparently nobody can tell me when he will be here or even when I will get out of here for an infection in my hand they forgot to bring me a food tray a couple mornings and afternoons I wouldn’t recommend this hospital to anyone really not organized and seems nobody ever knows what’s going on.
My husband was admitted here with covid had pneumonia had to be put on the ventilator came off the ventilator was communicating laughing joking with family getting better moved out icu got worse bad infection but said it was getting better threw up and inhaled it couldn’t use a nurse call button so shouldn’t have been moved out icu in first place some nurse joked around in his room didn’t check on him he was there almost 4 months passed away two days after being moved back to icu
It was quite a wait a bit of a horror show in the lobby but once we were attended to I found the experience to be 5 star. It is an overcrowded hospital and were glad to learn that they are working on building another Atrium hospital on the other side of town.
I should be able to give this place no stars. This ER is a JOKE. A few months ago my sister took her daughter here after she was bit in the face by a dog and they stitches the lacerations without even cleaning them which caused an infection and over a week hospital stay.More recently my boyfriend has been having crippling back paid to the point her cannot walk get up off the couch or roll over in the bed without moaning in pain. They took him back to a room and within less than 5 mins told him that it wasn’t serious enough to do any imaging unless he had incontinence or tingling or numbness in his legs. They gave him no reason why this may be happening even after knowing he has a spine issue that’s caused fractures in his back before. THEY TOLD HIM THEY COULD GIVE HIM A LIDOCAINE PATCH Something he could buy at a CVS with no answer.I’m beyond furious. These so called doctors are trash and should have their medical license taken from them.
This was the first time that I received poor health care normally the ER care is awesome but in July 2021 the ER nurses and doctor were terrible Im just going to go to another ERhospital if I need to I have severe respiratory issues on oxygen 247 and the head nurse said it wasnt her responsibility to help me find a ride home

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
