Lake Norman Regional Medical Center's Online Review Report Card

I was so happy with my experience with this office until I discovered I’m allergic to their pre op diet foods. $250 wasted because they absolutely refuse even partial refunds even due to medical reasons even if they’re unopen. I was told that it’s my fault because I’m the one with the allergy but I don’t know how I’m supposed to know how something will affect me if I’ve never consumed it. It was suggested that I sell the products myself online. Now I have to go out and buy alternatives for all of these products while trying to sell the ones I can’t consume. I wish they’d offered samples at the seminar so I could’ve known before wasting $250. This has completely ruined my experience and I haven’t even had surgery yet. Highly disappointed.

Dr Heider is the best surgeon ever His nurse Rebecca is always there to answer questions as well as Andrew the dietitian. Lake Norman is also the best hospital I have ever stayed in. They take such great care of their patients and even follow up when you go home. Love this group♥️♥️♥️

The WHOLE team at The Center for Surgical Weight Loss is amazing Kristy always has a smiling face at the front desk Dr. Heider just incredible work. Went through the whole process with me and takes time for each of his patients to talk to them about concerns and questions. Minimal scars NO pain not everyone is that lucky though. The support system they have there is just phenomenal. Loved my nutritionists that I work with Stephanie was always responsive to any concerns I had I tell everyone if they are considering a program for weight loss surgery THIS is the way to go

I was so disappointed at this facility. I first went to a seminar 3 years ago. They promised to walk you through the process and help you get the surgery done.  They are liars. I was told different things at different times and this was stretched out for years just to keep getting paid. I will never be back and I will never suggest this place. I think it is because I am not a caucasian. This facility is no help and will drag out your issue for years. Disgusted

Dr. Marr is absolutely AMAZING He did my sleeve a month ago and there is nobody I trust more than him. From the moment I met him he made me feel comfortable heard and safe. He was there for me every step of the way and I couldn’t be more grateful to him and his team. I highly recommend him for your weightloss journey

Dr. Marr is simply awesomeI started this journey in April. He answered every question and reassured me that everything would go well. His warm and kind bedside manner is second to none. Im so glad I waited for the right time and the right place. 7 days post surgery and this is the best health decision I have ever made If you are undecided let me encourage you to see Doctor Heider and his team to rescue you from your personal health battle. Attend the meetings for pre and post surgical education and to plan your personal health victory. I can not say enough good things about this practice. On a scale of 110 they and Lake Norman Regional Medical Center have scored 12 for my experience. I am very grateful.

Absolutely the best of the best Had the surgery 2 and 12 years ago best decision I ever made Dr. Heider and his staff are 2nd to none

I was stuck in traffic drove 2 hours for an appointment. Was late only 15 minutes they cancelled my appointment . Ridiculous .
