I went to Lake Norman hospitals emergency room after I suffered a concussion in July. I am like many others in not having any health insurance. I never seen a doctor. The xray tech wheeled me into the cat scan room and laid me on the gurney. She never turned on the machine. I have had several cat scans and Maris it wasnt my first rodeo.Back in the exam room a orderly came in and said you are fine take some Motrin when you get home. Then she left the room to start the release process. When she came back in she had me sign a paper and said I was free to go. Again she left the room leaving the side rails up on the bed making it difficult to get out of the bed.I was standing there about to walk out when the orderly busted back in and said that she had to take my blood pressure again. She tried twice while I was standing up. Everyone knows thats wrong she didnt know that there was a line on the cuff that has told be lined up with a artery in the arm. Finally she said lay back down on the bed. She tried two more times while my legs were crossed. Then she reached across my chest and tried on my right arm. Needles to say my blood pressure was never taken.I had to got to another medical facility for treatment.wWLake Norman Medical had enough gall to send me a bill and then to collections.I would not recommend the joke for my exwifes gold fish.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE.I am seeking legal action both criminal and civil..
I had gotten sick earlier in the week and went to my primary care doctor. It was the weekend and I was dehydrated and had been vomiting for a few days. I told the triage person just that. They gave me 1 bag of IV fluids and sent me home. I cant recall if they ran blood test but I was given no meds for the vomiting. I have never gone to any medical facility and youre diagnose based on what you say. I do recall the urgency to sign insurance forms. I get a bill and try unsuccessfully for 3 weeks to speak to someone about a payment plan. I would stay on hold for at least 30 minutes only to leave a message that no one responds. The only person that responded was the collection agency. Three days later I ended up at the ER in Huntersville to be admitted for esophagitis. Thanks LNRMC.
From what I remember everyone was very attentive to my condition and I didnt have to suffer in pain any longer than necessary.
I was checked in and in a room within a few minutes. The staff were attentive and personable. The physician listened and was great explaining my prognosis. Highly recommend this hospital.
Mens bathroom urinal in the ER has black mold growing at the waterline and appears not to have been cleaned in a very long time
On October 16th Dr Potu walked into my fathers room at lnrmc and immediately began wanting to know why he wasnt doing what her PT had ask. He was extremely weak and began explaining he couldnt however she began to belittle him and said he better be sitting up the next time she comes by his room my dad could only nod. She said I know all about your anxiety and we can give him a Zantac. By the way she had no regards for HIPPA because the door was wide open as nurse Shelly came into the room inquiring if everything was OK after the caring doctor storms out.On Monday she got her hospital bed at the expense of my dads life. He died after being forced to move to Citadel on Wednesday morning. He was only there for 2 days. On the first day they did not give him a single breathing treatment nor put him on his bipap machine. When we arrived the following morning we explained it was crucial that its on every night. The director of nursing Yvette didnt seem to care one way or the other. The following night at 230a I received a call that he was unresponsive….minutes later he was pronounced dead. Today we are planning his funeral. I would like to thank Alexis social worker at LNRMC. He has passed away so we know you are not in the profession you should be in. Its all about money and your beds LNRMC.Shame on YOU and everyone who cared so little for a beautiful sweet loving man.
Went to ER and they were very quick getting me back into a room and were right on taking care of my pain. Everyone was very friendly and helpful.
Emergency room staff treated my family excellent. Good experience. Nurses and doctor really efficient. Recommend this emergency room for care.
I had an outpatient procedure last week and it could not have been a better experience. Everyone was kind and considerate starting with the receptionist at checkin and the billing department that helped me determine the date of my last visit last year. The outpatient floor seemed very busy and crowded to me but the nurses assured me that I was there on a relatively light day and the nurses were amazing just very nice and pleasant and reassuring which helped me a lot because even though I present an exterior veneer of calm my blood pressure revealed that I was quite nervous. My anesthesiologist Dr Ashley came by and explained everything to me and like everyone else was very upbeat and nice and really put me at ease. The procedure itself probably took 5 minutes but I dont know for sure because I was pleasantly sedated and again I was assisted by a competent attentive nurse with a sunny disposition. It was a quick recovery and I was discharged in plenty of time to enjoy a nice lunch with my wife. I dont want to go back but if I have to this will be the place to go. Thank you

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
