List of Ryan Conrad's Reviews
Not personable at all. Administered the test and was more painful than expected. Read numerous reports that claimed the test was a little uncomfortable. My experience was unbearable. Had to stop 5 minutes into the test. Doctor did not ask any questions or show an empathy. I told him how painful it was but he said nothing
Dr. Ryan Conrad agreed with my diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis and Myasthenia Gravis. He prescribed and treated me for those two disorders for over a three-year period. His Rx(s) for the two disorders were totally deleterious to my whole body. He, like it has been said by others, fell off the grid, so to speak. As it turns out, I do not have MS nor do I have Myasthenia Gravis. In my opinion, he borders on "quackery" in practicing Neurology Medicine. Please, if you can, steer clear of him by all means possible. He'll not only misdiagnose you but subject your body to life-threatening and damaging conditions. BE FOREWARNED!!!
I have been seeing Dr Conrad for almost 4 years. He has taken me serious since my very first appt. he’s been nothing short of thorough and my primary care doctor even says the same thing! I couldn’t ask for a better neurologist & would recommend him to anyone and everyone. He is very smart & talented and I thank god for him. When i have an appt with him, he spends all the time i want/need during that appt and i get his full and undivided attention the entire time. Also, when i reach out through the health app via message i get a response from his team within hours. I know another girl who sees him and has nothing but good things to say as well. I cannot recommend him enough. Please, if you are having issues and have seen other neurologists, get Dr Conrad’s opinion ASAP. It’s life changing. He will not let you down.
Dr. Conrad actually LISTENED to what I said - I loved it. Highly recommend him.
Dr. Conrad needs his license pulled!!!! BEWARE!!! He prescribed my young niece horrible meds and to even double the dosage at one point which sent her into a violent seizing tailspin. He then didn't want anything to do with her and fell off the grid to the doctors at the hospital who tried to help her!!!
Did not want to take the time as a neurologist to help me, said he could not read my MRI, diagnose it really?? So bothered that I was there , huffed and puffed no eye contact rushed through my papers and had nothing to offer other than a prescription without knowing what is wrong. He gave me a referral to a surgeon, I changed that and found my own. He spent 15 minutes, mostly typing, not offering anything , no physical exam just new patient and co pay. Would not recommend this man at all. Left me feeling helpless and scared. Going to Wake Forest Neurology they said they will be happy to help me. I have Trigeminal Neuralgia , had surgery and gamma knife, last MRI is showing something he said he did not know. So why be a neurologist if you cannot read an MRI and it bothers you to listen to a patients needs.
Growing up with epilepsy, I saw a lot of incompetent doctors who didn't manage my condition well. When I moved here and started having migraines during my pregnancy, I was devastated to be referred to yet another neuro (Dr. Conrad). I couldn't believe when I met him how knowledgeable he was, and if he wasn't sure about the safety of a medication he took the time to research it. He also dx'd me with a condition no other doctor had noticed and treated it. He has improved my quality of life.
I was trying to look up Dr. Conrad's phone number when I stumbled on this website and saw the reviews. My experience with Dr. Conrad has been the antithesis of those who have posted poorly about him. I've been his patient for two years and after having epilepsy for twenty years he is the first doctor to ever correctly diagnose and treat me. I was pregnant when I started seeing him, and he knew exactly which medications would be safe to take for my chronic migraines. Before I saw him, I couldn't even take care of my three-year-old; I had no quality of life. I can never repay the days and years his treatment has given me back.
Did not get diagnosis. No answers or suggestions on how to help patient. Alzheimer's Association said to not give up and find someone who could help with answers, so we will.
Even though I was told I had no active Neurological problems only due to not showing on any MRI yet Dr. Conrad never referred me out to Rheumatology to continue my treatment for my possible auto immune problems since my muscle weakness and neuritis in my feet worsened. I was basically just going for medication management. I wasted a year going here and now had to start over with a new Neurologist who within 3 months confirmed that I did need and should have already been seeing a Rheumatologist.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
