I was treated by Dr. Ard when I was admitted to the hospital for severe Afib. He was wonderful! Very knowledgeable, kind informative and lighthearted. I recommend him highly!

He installed my pacemaker on May 3rd, 2018 at Carteret General Hospital, Morehead City. He was not my primary Dr. however he was the surgeon that did the work. He was very informative on what was going to happen the device he was going to use. After the procedure, he came by to see me and let me know how it went. I saw him again a week later in his office and other than a short wait everything went well. Nice office and staff, I was well take care.

Dr. Ard saw my husband for an admission. He gave him bp med and when it was time for a refill, declined the refill because he had only seen him once. The last appt had been less than a year and we were told unless there was a problem we didn't need to come back. The front desk told us good luck trying to get an appointment with him. The on call doctor hung up on me. In the meantime, my husband has gone 4 days without his bp meds. In good faith, I could not recommend this doctor or facility.

Dr. Ard appears to be a very qualified cardiologist - knowledgeable and professional. My first visit was an introductory visit and to get set up with a cardiologist in the area who was recommended to me by others as well. He even apologized for the not so unreasonable wait, compared with doctors I've seen. I liked him and I think he can do the job.

Dr Ard is Very attentive and takes the time to explain things and shows diagrams. I have been his patient for several years feel Very Blessed to have him for my Heart Doctor!
