I had read the reviews for Dr. Bonfield before I made my appointment. I was not disappointed. The practice is a model of efficiency, but I did not feel hurried. His tech was friendly and put me at ease, and as soon as I met Dr. Bonfield, I knew I was in the right place. He allayed my fears, explained what the previous doctor had not, and gave me the relief I had been seeking. I am a retired ICU nurse, and I know a good doctor when I encounter one. Dr. Bonfield is as smart as they come and has that rare talent of an amazing, gentle "chair"side manner. He listens, he explains, and he treats. Perfect.

Dr. Bonfield is an amazing and wonderful doctor. My grandmother had already had 3 previous retina surgery's and the other doctor she had seen told her there was nothing else they could do for her. She has been seeing doctor bonfield and had her fourth surgery yesterday. Her results so far have been amazing. He has wonderful bedside manner. He and his staff are all very well organized, prompt, caring, and efficient. I highly recommend morganton eye. I will be a new patient of theirs very soon. Thanks again for being so wonderful to my grandmother and taking such wonderful care of her yesterday. We look forward to seeing them again.
