Medical care of my loved one at ER was goodbut place is on Covid lockdown and no one calls to update anyone. Had to smughle my wife a cell phone just to find out if she was ok. Nurses station had no information on her diagnosis or treatment. Ther y never even called with a discharge time so i could pick hrr up.

Recently my wife was admitted for a severe case of COVID. The staff was so fast educated and took action immediately in the ER. After she was admitted there was a particular nurse Ashley Cochran who really stood out to her and was her Angel. Erlanger Hospital your STAFF nurses doctors are ALL our HEROS and doing magnificent jobs and we can’t imagine how difficult it is. Thank you so much

I am so grateful to all the nurses and doctors at this hospital. The ER staff were so helpful to our family after our car accident. We thank God for them in our prayers.

Erlanger Hospital WHAT HAPPEN TO PATIENT CONFIDENTIALITY OR HIPA LAW WHEN I GOT TO THE HOSPITAL THIS MORNING STAFF AT THE OTHER END OF HOSPITAL KNEW THAT I WASN’T HAPPY THAT MY FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS WERE TAKEN AWAY FROM ME AT REGISTERSTRATION FOR A STRESS TEST DONE ON 092221 AND THEY WERE READY TO RETALIATE AGAINST ME. The world says that’s just the way it is well that’s why the world is in a mess because of fear to take a stand It’s a totally shame that when you do your best to stand up for what is right according to your constitutional rights that the hospital wants to call the Security Guard on you and their excuse is it’s private property you have to ware a mask SLAVERY is MORE IMPORTANT THAN YOUR CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT??? I get it they are doing their job but they tell you they don’t like waring mask all day either……then for pete sake ban together and refuse…..common since mask do not keep you from getting sick it slaves you and causes fear. BTW if they ban TOGETHER you really think they will fire the WHOLE staff If so God has a better plan for you your rights are more important than Slavery and Fear. Is this a rant post NO ITS A RIGHT TO CHOOSE POST If you want to ware one ware one but don’t expect me to without a STINKING FIGHT FOR MY RIGHTS.

A year ago this week my daughter was taken to Erlanger after being bit by a pit viper. Erlanger refused to administer Crofab although my daughter clearly met criteria by all the National standards and treatment algorithms for administration of CroFab. We asked multiple physicians credentialed and working at two of the Erlanger facilities and all refused. My daughters toe developed necrotic tissue while under their care and required several additional admissions not at Erlanger outpatient therapies and eventually partial amputation due to their refusal of providing the ONLY effective treatment for a venomization. There were multiples of other safety violations we reported to the DNV regulatory body DNV investigated and confirmed concerns. We have asked to present our story to the Board of Trustees to assist with improving safety systems and care process delivery associated with snake bite management. It seems the only persons that will be affected personally by this event is my daughter and our family.Outside of the refusal to treat the effects of the venom to date we have never received an apology aside from their attorneyrisk manger or any explanation as to why Crofab was not administered although at the time multiple clinicians discussed the price of Crofabhowever the overall cost of not treating her bite definitely exceeded the cost of the Crofab. Erlanger has completely taken a deny and defend stance and have shifted all blame to their contracted physicians. In the beginning we just wanted to hear an explanation from the leadership team not just the risk manager or legal team to acknowledge my daughter as a person explain to her why her limb did not matter enough to be treated and just show an ounce of remorse and decency as a publicly supported healthcare entity.Wanted to share our story as it is snake bite season would encourage anyone to review evidenced based snakebite management and healthcare options. Their attorney refused to even tell us if they had Crofab in stock stating that was protected information. Please research what to do in the event you or a loved one is ever the victim of a poisonous snake bite.Erlanger we pray you have improved your processes.

I had the Rezum procedure here with Dr. Jeffery Martin yesterday. It was a grat experience. Pre op on Friday last week was thorough and efficient. Yesterday Ashley Gail and Matthew took very good care of me. Thank you Cleanliness equipment and privacy were top notch. Better than my TURP procedure in California in 2015. Thank you so much

I want to thank first Dr. Matthew Davis for seeing me so quickly and scheduling my surgery equally as quick. His care and the Erlanger Hospital’s staff could not have been more caring and efficient. Everyone from the 2 men who screen you for Covid at the entrance to registration to the staff at the same day care unit EVERYONE was kind caring and efficient. A special shout out and thank you to Nurses Dana and Kayla in Same Day Care….you both are awesome Also shout out to Anesthesiologist and the surgery team each of you were so kind and caring. I would highly recommend this facility for care.

I had a torn meniscus repaired this morning. I want to thank everyone from admissions to the wonderful nurses and anesthesiology people. I can’t thank you all enough for you expertise warmth and kindness. Also a special thank you to Dr. Steven Purvis. If I neglected to mention anyone I apologize.

Currently sitting in the er been sitting in a room for over a hour without a nurse or Doctor even coming in to check on me this is ridiculous nobody has checked on me examined me or even asked me how I’m doing I can hear them all talking laughing and cutting up but not one has checked on me and they are not busy either this should not be going on well after a hour and a half without nobody checking on me I walked out without treatment or even seeing a doctor

Terrible experience. ER is a joke. And the so called DRs are rejects from other places. Would not take my dog here. If you have any underlying health conditions like my husband does with chronic renal failure... do yourself a favor and drive to Atlanta..
