List of Angela Mi Woo Park's Reviews
I have been seeing Dr Park for a couple years now.She is through, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. She takes time to have a laugh but gets down to business and really wants to know how you feel about her diagnosis and care plan. I highly recommend her and truly like the level of detail she gives me about my condition and what she is trying to achieve. She works well with my main cardiologist of 16 years.I credit my still being here to them both.I have had 9 heart attacks that left me unable to work for 18 months.I have been back to work for 5 years now and haven't felt this good in 10 years, results speak volumes in my opinion.
Dr. Park has successfully treated my wife and I for debilitating A-Fib. She is the perfect combination of expertise and compassion. She is a highly specialized electrophysiologist, who earned the honor of being the first female chief resident at the world-renowned Cedars Sinai Medical Center in L.A. Dr. Park's concerns are for the total person. Plus she has a warm and comforting personality that works to allay fears about one's cardiac issues.
Her knowledge skill are unquestionably great but it’s her bedside manner, ability to communicate, and obvious concern and interest that set her apart.
My Mother died because of irregular heart beats that were not monitored. A pacemaker would have immeasurably helped her, but, lamentably, this life saving device wasn't in Park's equation. Instead, various medications were given which didn't at all improve her condition. She was suddenly breathless while driving, and this was actually after attending a doctor's appointment. Her death was a week later to the detriment of all who loved her. Regardless of a person's age - care, support and management should be essential for the well being of ANY patient.
A lot of details. Great information...
I didn't have a visit with this doctor, but a dear person I love did. She had irregular heart rhythms, and a pacemaker most considerably would have helped. This never happened, and she struggled on until she was breathless while driving. Imagine the fright and agony she endured. A week later in hospital she died. A senseless and utterly profound waste of life.
Dr.Parks is a excellent Dr. She explains everything to you. I had surgery last Thursday. She was very gentle and kind. She's the best heart Dr I have been to in this area.
Dr Park treated me for a-fib. She treated me the same day that I was in rehab. from a Cabg operation and discovered a-fib. She has been treating me for several years and I am doing excellent. I have been on medication and she put a pacemaker in my chest which really gave me more energy. I am 88 and still doing very well. I would reccomend her to anyone w/ heart problems.
I had an ablation that went awry, a nerve or vein was nicked, as the meds wore off I was in great pain and could not move my leg, Dr. Parks came in to my room, I told her what was going on and the first thing out of her mouth was "Why don't you want to go home?" and was trying to send me home when I was bleeding into my leg while still on warfarin. I went 24 hours without pain meds and it took another doctor to listen to me and order the mri to find what was going on. Bedside manners are non existant as well as patient concern.
She is a great doctor and a great person. She is very personable and makes you feel very at ease. She explains every part of a test or procedure and also tells you if it is needed! We consider her a true friend and if she moved to another part of the country or world, we would go there for appointments. My cardiologist for life!!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
