He stopped listening to me the minute I said my sister had migraines. Blew off my actual neurological disease saying it must be migraines then. This is despite a confirmed diagnosis from another neurologist and an optic neurologist an MRI and a lumbar puncture confirming my disease. He even wrote that it probably wasnt my disease but was migraines in my records. I never went back and was glad when he left the practice.

Stopped listening to me the moment I mentioned my sister had migraines. Insisted I did too despite the lack of migraines and another diagnosis confirmed by two other neurologists. Said he doubted thats really what it was and that its probably migraines. Its not. Very unimpressed and I refused to go back to a doctor that wouldnt listen.

Didnt know how to interpret tests. Very nice but didnt help me at all.

Dr. Averell is a nice person and his staff is great however he is never truly there for my mother. She has MS. He has great knowledge and is helpful when she has an appointment but its hard when the nurse tends to act like the doctor.

Very competent pays attention to detail. I appreciated that I was seen on time and he took his time with me. He really helped me understand what to expect with my condition. His nurse is also very helpful and easy to talk to.
