List of Cara D Hamm's Reviews
Dr Hamm is awesome, very thorough. One receptionist is full of attitude anytime i call to make an appointment. I decided to try another eye doctor.
Dr. Hamm is very knowledgeable, caring and I really felt listened to as a patient. The glasses I got from her were the best I've ever received! I highly recommend her.
Dr. Hamm is so caring and knowledgeable. I have recommended her to my family and friends. The glasses I received from her were the best Ive ever received. I didnt feel rushed when I was with her.
Dr. Hamm and staff are very friendly and caring. I was given a thorough eye exam. The new RX I was given is excellent.
Despite coming in with a serious problem (diabetes, sudden change in vision, blind spots) Dr. Hamm was unable to find a cause and needed to refer me to a retina specialist. She barely listened to my description of the problem. Her office staff FORGOT TO DO the referral. I had to call and remind them, and then they FORGOT AGAIN. When I let them know, their office representative was not only unapologetic but also surly and dismissive. I would never use any doctor in this office again.
Was seen for a blind spot issue. Practice told me I was seeing an ophthalmologist, then I found out she was an optometrist. Could not diagnose my problem. Was to refer me to a retina specialist but staff FORGOT! Reminded them after a week. They FORGOT AGAIN. No apology, rude treatment on the phone.
Dr. Hamm asked me to come back in 2 weeks, then wondered why I was there. She rushed the visit, said she had to be somewhere. She did part of the exam from across the room rather than look at my eye. When she checked my peripheral vision, she thought I didn't know how to follow directions rather than realizing that my peripheral vision is poor clinically. She wanted me to come back and repeat the test. I asked her to look at my chart and see my history. The peripheral vision was unchanged from before. I don't trust her clinical knowledge.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
