Worst experience ever went there twice both times the doctor seemed as if he didnt want me there didnt even bother to explain my sheet to me the second visit just referred me to someone else then on top of that had to wait three weeks and call the facility three times just to find why my I havent been contacted with an updated appointment just to find out they never sent my paperwork to begin with.

Shoutout with gratitude and respect to Dr. Hoyt Doak In late March he saw me in ER during a very stressful time I did not realize how sick I was. He explained clearly what was going on and how we were going to resolve it.Dr. Doak and his staff followed through ensuring everything proceeded exactly as he said. He took time to call me directly and also went above and beyond to coordinate with my other physicians in Chapel Hill to ensure everyone was on the same page with scheduling and medications.In my opinion he went above and beyond this was 360 degree care.The professionalism of Dr. Doak and his staff is appreciated and I highly recommend Dr. Doak and Carolina East Urology Center.

Dr. Pierce is friendly welcoming knowledgeable and ensures a people first approach. Dr. Pierce is just what New Bern needs as doctors Highly recommend you see him if you are needing a urology doctor.

My dad kept getting urinary infections because of a bad kidney stone and stent. I kept asking Dr. Wash and Doak to keep him in the hospital after the infections cleared each time till removal because of his frailty. They would not consider it. After 3 kidney infections and no removal my father died. On Death Certificate UTI is listed as a cause. They could of justified keeping my dad in the hospital as his immune system is already weakened by RA medications and he had a clear history of reinfection. Doctors were rude and cocky when I suggested this. Drive to Wilmington or elsewhere. Stay away.

The doctor here is by far the best I’ve ever seen So nice and explains everything while showing you the scans or xrays.

No problems here from beginning to end.Dr Doak came to the hospital in the middle of the night to relieve me of the worst pain I can remember having and that includes shoulder surgery and several complete right and left hip replacements.A couple weeks later Dr Doak robotically removed a huge stone and others from my left kidney.Great bedside manner.He is happy to explains every question asked him in detail.I hope I do not have kidney stones again but if I do get them again he will be my doctor.A real “2 thumbs up” experience.Thank youKenny Bennett
