The only good review I have for this place is for ONE lady at the front desk who took my concerns seriously after everyone else got an attitude. I taught my son Spanish as our first language is Spanish the pediatrician asked him a question in English and my son didn’t respond so she said he had a speech impediment disregarded the fact that his first language was Spanish at the time. I got a reevaluation without thinking the fact that nothing would change because it would’ve looked bad if one doctor said he an impediment and another one would’ve said he didn’t at the same office right? well the SECOND pediatrician there asked him “ what did you eat last night? And what you eat this morning?” She didn’t even give my son a chance to talk back before she immediately said he does indeed have a speech impediment. Her “diagnose” took less than 5 minutes just with two questions. She then proceeded to tell me I shouldn’t even worry about it because my son wasn’t even going to school and I told her my son was going to kindergarten the upcoming fall. She told ME “no he’s not” and I argued that he was. She then said “he’s not even old enough” and I responded with “He’s my son I think I’d know when he’s going to school or not he’s five.” SHE STILL CONTINUED to argue until she checked the chart and was like “oh he IS 5” didn’t apologize or anything. She wanted him to go to speech therapy 2x a week and a school follow up I called the school after app and they said their speech therapist would be taking him out of classes 3 days a week. I was crying at this point out of frustration on how she was treating us. I then left tried to pay and they told me I was “good to go” I’ve gone to this place for over a year and I was always self pay so the process was always paying after the visit I assumed they didn’t charge bc the appointment lasted no longer than 5 minutes and misdiagnosed my son. I get a bill from them a month later. LOL. I took my son to a private pediatrician and he said that from how he communicated with everyone there he didn’t see anything that concerned him for speech therapy or speech impediment. Thank you for making me pay for this office to misdiagnose my son.

Always quick but efficient...weve seen probably every doctor between my 5 kids and theyre all wonderful. They listen to you and your childs needs rather than rushing you out and that really matters to the parents I give them a definite 5 star its always clean and the staff are friendly

Would not pick up the phone

So thankful a dear friend recommended this doctors office. I will gladly drive our 40 min drive to receive great care. Dr. Whaley was awesome and I am pleased with the whole office. From the initial phone call with the friendly receptionists to actually being seen by Dr. Whaley. Thank you 🥰

We love Carolina Pediatrics. All of our children are patients of Dr Rileys however they have seen every doctor at least once over the past 11 years if their doctor was not available and I don’t have a complaint about any of them. From the front desk to the nurses and doctors they are All competent caring and efficient.

I love the staff and the doctors everyones quick and caring and the front desk has repeatedly gone above and beyond for me whether its for a walkin or for a records request.

First time mom here and Dr. Riley always has been great with our daughter since the day she was born. She’s also been very helpful with answering any and all of my crazy first time parent questions. She takes her time with us and we never feel rushed.

Lady at the front desk is incredibly nasty Monica or Monique I think She really makes the office look bad. She was horrible to my 3 year old and myself when we went in to switch to them after moving here and also when we came back for his 1st appt. However the doctor he saw Dr. Whaley I think was beyond great and that’s what really matters. The desk lady does have me considering switching pediatricians though. I don’t care how you act towards me but you can not work at a pediatricians office and be nasty towards kids. The nurses were sweet and Dr. was great though.I’m editing my review after seeing I’m not the only one who had a bad experience with the lady at the desk 5 stars for the doctors nurses and quality of care for my child0 stars for the check in process dealings with that particular woman at the front desk. Seriously CarolinaEast Peds.....you guys should replace her with someone who doesn’t clearly hate their job as much as she does.

Love the staff. They are nice and quick. They listen if you have a problem or if you have questions. Always there to help.

Ive never had a bad experience here. Dr. Riley is an awesome doctor. The staff are all kind especially Kim at the front desk. She is always pleasant and helpful.
