Caroline A Paul's Online Review Report Card

My first time meeting a surgeon that doesn't wear a mask while performing a medical procedure and then doesn't send a growth to pathology for examination. Seems to just come up with her own ideas of logic vs. trying things based on basic medical knowledge and scientific logic (prevention of infection while performing an open incision surgery, verifying growths in humans, etc). The other staff was excellent but would not recommend going to this person.

Do not waste your time or give any money to this Sorry excuse of a "doctor " she does no research, no blood work , confuses her patients charts and then tells them without a single test or even an inquiry of her own that it's all in their heads and she thinks they need psychiatric help. My 25 year old daughter has been vomiting for over a year straight and we went through months of waiting for her to get a referral to a specialist. I should have listened to the reviews and saved time, money and insults. I have never in my entire life seen such an awful representation in the field. I will be in contact with the board about her license to practice medicine since she is not even putting forth the effort to ask a question beyond "how are you today " and you can see her tune you out. I left feeling so defeated for my daughter and feeling like ms Paul could benefit from her own I'll given "advice " Now should I bill her for this ?? I swear

Upon seeing Dr. Paul today, I can highly recommend her to everyone. She was very friendly, very compassionate and very informative. She made me feel relaxed, welcomed and comfortable. Giving her a 5-star rating!

Was very kind and thorough! Helped me tremendously with a very stubborn cyst.

Dr. Caroline Paul is a complete imbasol to medicine! She all but said that the lump in my armpit was all in my head! I have had 3 other doctors tell me that I needed to have it removed and biopsied but this quack of a doctor says it is nothing! PLEASE don't ever see her for ANYTHING!!! COMPLETELY INCOMPETENT!!!

Came in, did one test where pain is and said, it's in my head. No further exam, nothing. No empathy towards patients, WORSE doctor I've ever seen or experienced AND I work in the medical field and have seen my fair share of doctors from ALL walks of life. She needs to retire / resign and not be in this field.

In the last four years I've been having pain in one area, I've had CT scans, ultrasounds, sonograms, xrays done, to show nothing, I go to her after being referred by my PCP, she comes in, tells me she's looked at all my test and results, doesn't see anything, I'm one of those unusal cases and that it's all in my head. To think back four years what's caused me stress. I'm baffled, out right upset by this. Wasted $80 co pay for her to tell me it's in my head. Asked a ton of questions and her answer, "I don't know" !!! You're a special case, ummm, excuse me, then what's wrong with me?? Didn't do any other kind of examination other than put one fingertip where I hurt and said there was nothing there. Worse beside manner. Also heard her before she came into a room tell a co-worker speak poorly about a patient as she was coming out another room, very distasteful!

Dr. Paul did my gallbladder surgery on Sept 3, 2020 that my primary care doctor wanted her opinion on whether to surgically remove or not due to sludge. With the many years of cramping and pain, I had experienced without a cause or a solution, it was music to my ears when Dr. Paul wasted no time in telling me it needed to come out. After surgery, Dr. Paul said my gallbladder was full of gall stones, too. No wonder I had been suffering with stomach pain for years. I had sand and stones! Even with my incisions healing up, I already feel better and I can eat food again. Thank you, Dr. Paul for your genuine concern for me. By the time I got to surgery, I was only eating fruit due to the severe pain I was having if I ate anything at all, and because of the COVID test, I had to wait for my surgery, but it all worked out so that I can now heal and feel better than I have in a long time. Thank you, Dr. Paul!

Dear Dr Paul, Thank you for the excellent surgery that I received on February 28th of this year. I am recovering very well, since I figured out I have to change my diet.(definitely healthier) No more nerve pain. I am looking forward in not only continuing a healthy diet but a better form of exercise. Thank you, definitely stay safe during this virus, as we definitely need excellent medical here in New Bern.
