List of Colin Evans's Reviews
We needed some help with our child. There was a lot going on for him and us a parents. Dr. Evans was helpful, realistic, and easy to talk to. We'd recommend him to anyone.
We visited Dr Evans several times, and tried the meds. that he recommended. We explained that we were having some adverse side effects and would like to try something different. We were told that he could not do anything else for us and suggested we go back to our pediatrician. Yesterday, I found out that he had prescribed a medicine that is know to have these side effects even though we explained how sensitive she was to meds. I really did not feel like he had her best interest at heart. He was not willing to take the time to find out what worked best for her. The feeling we got, was" Here is your prescription, if it doesn't work, too bad, you are fired." I would suggest to try to find another Doc, who is more interested in staying with a patient more than he stayed with us.
He was really supportive, and I would recommend him to anyone! He quickly transitioned from Doctor Evans to a confidant (:
During my appointment I felt disrespected and unheard. He made me talk in front of my mother which I stated I was uncomfortable with. After somewhere between 30 minutes to an hour he decided I was resisting treatment on our first appointment. I left discouraged and angry. I didn’t make a second appointment
Dr. Evans is a young man who carries himself like the doctor's our grandparent's talked about. He's exceedingly bright but reserved to ever make the patient feel intimidated or dumb. He genuinely cares and brings a common sense and rationality to psychiatry that patients rarely see in his field. If you're down to earth and want an honest opinion about your status and how to make your state better see him at the UNC health system.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
