David Byrd's Online Review Report Card

My experience with David Byrd was a nightmare. I was at the endoscopy Center for the procedure and had a driver arranged to take me home, but when I arrived was told I had to have someone there for the entire 2 hours. I was scrambling to make that happen and was being told after a while that it was against their policy to go ahead with a procedure if I didn't have someone there right then. I had someone arranged to arrive within a few minutes, and I asked to speak to someone about it. They said I could talk to Dr Byrd. When he came over to me in the areawhere patients were being prepared, he was super aggressive, glaring at me intensely above his mask and pointing and shaking his finger at me. When I tried to explain, he told me in a very loud threatening voice to be quiet. He then told me that I would not be getting the procedure today. He was rude, arrogant, his bedside manner was more than atrocious. It was threatening and completely inappropriate. It left me extremely upset and traumatized. He had treated me like a derelict, nuisance wino who needed to be kicked out. Horrible man!

I was having some trouble getting someone to be there before my endoscopy. This doctor came at me like a bull charging a red flag. He was rude, arrogant, and aggressive. He glared at me intensely over his mask and pointed a finger very close to my face. He told me aggressively that I would not be receiving the procedure. When I started to explain the situation, he very loudly said "be quiet" in an aggressive way. He cut me off, and treated me like a nuisance wino who needed to be kicked out of the building. It was horrible, it was traumatic, and it's had me upset for two days. In my opinion, someone like that should not be allowed to practice.

This dr. Decides to discharge a patient because they' ve had to reshedule an appointment on 3 different times due to there job and not being able to get off. He really doesnt care if you lose your job but he' ll care when you cant pay your bill to him.

Dr. Byrd completed my 4th endoscopy yesterday. He is such a superb doctor that I do not have a need for sedation when he does my endoscopy, as a matter of fact he performed what is my last colonoscopy last year without sedation. He carefully performs the task in a very efficient manner keeping me informed of the progress. He helps me manage my Barretts Esophagus to the point that as long as I follow his recommended treatment I experience no discomfort. I am thankful for the professional care Dr. Byrd and his staff has provided me over the years.

Dr.Byrd is the most awesome and both CCHC I have ever seen. From front office to back would give all of staff a 5 star rating.Went yesterday.

Dr. Bird needs to take a course in good bedside manner. He's rough, he's course and it's more than evident after you been in his presence for more than a few minutes, you are a cost unit...NOT a patient. Sad.

Dr. Byrd has the beside manner of a rabid dog.
