Dean S. Cohen's Online Review Report Card

Dr. Cohen is perhaps the nicest most genuine doctor I have ever been to in all my years. I 100% feel that he is truly interested in my health and welfare and he is never condescending or dismissive like so many other doctors are. It is a trial sometimes putting up with the long wait on the day of your appointment but his is a super busy office so I understand. I appreciate that he always takes the time to listen to what I have to say and doesnt rush me out. I highly recommend Dean Cohen.

The staff and nurses here are wonderful but I would think twice before selecting Dr. Cohen as a primary care doctor. He is too overbooked that he cannot even keep track of what he is doing with his patients. Three times I have had to wait because either the information is not complete correct or just not there. This time I came in and waited 45 minutes to be told that the test was not needed. No phone calls to me so I didnt waste my time going in but I guess my time is not as valuable as his to notify me of this. From now on I will be second guessing everything that he asks me to do or schedule because during this time of the pandemic losing out on work is becoming more of a sacrifice. When you do get to sit with Dr. Cohen he is great. I just think he has way too many patients to give the personal care he tries so hard to give.

I love this man Dr. Cohen is the best He is very thorough and professional. He listens and takes his time with you. Dr. Cohen makes you feel like family. I trust him completely with my health concerns and do not know what Ill do when he retires I feel blessed that he is my doctor.

During the office visit this provider commented how pretty I am and then proceeded to insult me as if to distract from his previous inappropriate comments. He also misdiagnosed me with a condition I dont have and for which he isnt qualified to render. Add to this his clear insecurity and insensitivity exhibited when discussing another issue and you have a provider who should not be in practice.

Extremely Thorough. Talks to patients on their level of understanding. Extremely Compassionate. My family members range in age from 15 to 83 and everyone of us go to him and are extremely satisfied. The 15 yr old is still going to a pediatrician but he will be joining the rest of us as soon as hes old enough.

Ive been with Dr. Dean Cohen since 2015. He is a remarkable physician that truly lives by his oath. If you are looking for a physician that is by your side and will fight for you to have nonjudgmental and proper treatment as one deserves then you have found the right physician.

I went looking for answers but left completely crushed. During the first visit he listened intently and reassured me he would figure everything out. He scheduled a few tests and had me feeling confident that I was in good care. The second visit he was completely different. He told me that I was just born this way with no explanation or genetic testing. I teared up because I deal with multiple chronic illnesses and I was disappointed that I felt he had given up on finding the answers so easily. Without me saying a word he then proceeded to tell me to stop having a pity party at least I dont have rectal cancer like his friend. He told me I bet you wouldnt want to trade cards. When discussing my hormonal imbalances he told me that menopausal women are stupid due to cognitive decline and maybe once we get my hormones under control I could use less tissues. I notified the office manager only to receive a letter from Dr. Cohen acting as though he had no idea why he upset me.

1 hour after my appointment time still havent seen him??

Very nice and knowledgable. Cares about YOU. Sends letters with results home. Listens thoroughly to exam do test and diagnose correctly. It doesnt take multiple visits to come to correct dx. treatment. Best family practice Dr. I ever had Im 61.
