A 'Shout Out' to Dr. Halligan, his team and to Carolina East Medical Center re: #4945, CABgX3 - 2nd October, 2017. It's now 5 years (+3 days!) since Dr, Halligan and his team carried out my triple by-pass operation in Carolina East Medical Center. It changed my life - I've got back a short while ago from hiking at 9,000ft in Nevada, I've just driven from Las Vegas back to New Bern, I do 3 miles a couple of times a week on the treadmill + the upkeep of a house and yard! I'm 77yrs old but that's only a number! Thanks Dr. Halligan!

Dr. Halligan is a gifted surgeon. He is very professional and knowledgeable in his field. Dr. Halligan performed on of the riskiest surgeries done today, Ivor Lewis open surgery, on me in August 2019. He was confident, skilled, and very caring. He is a cardiac thorasic surgeon who you can feel confident in putting your life in his hands... I did. His aftercare and staff are the best also! He is not arrogant, and takes whatever time needed with you on appointments. Doctors such as he are hard to find!

Dr. HALLIGAN PERFORMED 2 CAROTID SURGERIES, LEFT 2017 AND RIGHT 2018. IF YOU NEED THIS TYPE OF SURGERY .... HE IS THE DR. I RECOMMEND. HE IS PERSONABLE, CARING, AND STRAIGHTFORWARD. GREAT LISTENER, WITH A GOOD SENSE OF HUMOR. I AM WALKING AROUND TODAY BECAUSE OF DR. HALLIGAN. THANKS DR. HALLIGAN YOU ARE THE BEST. GOD BLESS YOU.

My 22 yr old was admitted to CarolinaEast Hospital with Pneumonia and Empyema. He was in the hospital for 3 weeks with chest tubes, drains, multiple antibiotics, 2 IV's, extreme pain, and and thankfully Dr. Halligan did his surgery. My child walked out of that hospital. Had it been the 1950's there would have been nothing they could have done for him.

Dr Halligan is a superior doctor. He is very knowledgeable, professional and personable. I wouldn't let anyone else do any cardiac surgery on me. He is a blessing!

Dr. Halligan performed cardiac surgery on me. I feel very blessed that he was my chosen doctor. He Is a wealth of knowledge, very experienced, friendly and courteous, I felt very comfortable going into surgery with Dr.Halligan as my doctor.

I am the 2nd generation of my family treated by Dr. Halligan . He performed several procedures on my mother, including valve replacement , and 6 weeks ago, performed triple bypass surgery on me. Not only is he a man of huge talent in his field, he is a fine human being, and is caring of his patients. When I was informed I needed this surgery, I requested Dr. Halligan.
