Urgent Care Of Mountain View- Newton's Online Review Report Card

I was very pleased with the hours of operations because many closed their doors way earlier. I was very pleased with the lady at the window who greeted us and took our co-pay. She was very professional and had a welcoming manner! The nurse who took us back to the exam room was very nice and professional as well. The doctor was very nice, but he didn't one time examine my daughter. He knew we were there for what I suspected was a sinus infection. He never looked in her nose, her throat, her ears, nothing. The only thing he did was listen to her breath. He immediately started in on why it was frowned upon to give out antibiotics for sinus stuff and then recommended us to do pretty much all that my daughter had been doing since Wednesday. She was feeling miserable. We had waited an hour at least, which was fine because I believe patients should feel their doctor is listening to them and not feel rushed through their visits, for him to pretty much do nothing but prescribe her a mild cough syrup. She was exhausted and stuffy and basically would have been better off staying home. Our co-pay was around $70. I don't feel she received the care she should have. As it is, she may be out of school tomorrow, and I will end up paying another co-pay for another doctor visit. I really hope that your doctors will truly take time to listen to the patients and actually look closer into their patients complaints.

We had to wait a while but that was expected. The staff was really nice though, and took very good care of me.

Late review, but it didn’t seem like they cared about me or my condition at all.. after every question I asked, one of the nurses replied with “is that it?” Repeatedly, and it was maybe 3 questions. They just seemed more concerned about their shift being over than their patient.

The front desk staff was quick and efficient with my insurance info and I didn't have to wait at all in the back to see the dr. I would rather go here than my regular dr to be honest

The staff at the Newton location is always great, but the billing department on the other hand is not very responsive and does not return calls when left messages. The only issue I have is that they call themselves "urgent care " but bill as a doctors office, which my insurance denied because when billed that way, I apparently needed a prior authorization. The billing department refuses to help resolve this matter, saying that they billed correctly. If you are not a real urgent care please change your name.

I'm currently at urgent care with my 2 young daughters - when I walked in they just needed ID, insurance & for me to fill out a very short form. about 5 minutes later my daughter was already in a room - the nurse came in almost immediately & the doctor came in about 5 minutes after her & WOW the doctor here is INCREDIBLE & amazing at talking to kids & acknowledging everyone in the room. he doesn't try to rush through everything he is very considerate & he's hilarious so he made my children feel very comfortable. I typically don't leave reviews - especially on medical services but this is one of the BEST experiences I've had at a medical facility & I will be recommending it to everyone!

We had such a wonderful experience yesterday at the Newton location! We were in and out in less than 45 minutes! All staff were wonderful from check in to check out, especially Anna and Courtney! Anna took her time with my daughter who was terrified to have her throat swabbed. Courtney was friendly, skilled and spoke to my 8 year old directly and allowed her to answer the questions for herself. I will most definitely going back to this office if we have to visit and urgent care again in the future.

Very good place to go excellent service staff are sweet and caring doctors are awesome I would definitely use them again

I have a primary care Dr however when unexpected things happen I go to Mountain view! The staff is excellent with patients the Drs are very compassionate, they follow the rules but have that home town feel about them. I go there more than my doctor I hope I'm not wearing my welcome out. ✌️
