His office is very bad at completing ins paper work it takes months what a nightmare
The most arrogant and unprofessional doctor I have ever met. He is extremely rude and inconsiderate towards the patient and their family. Terrible bedside manner. I also question how knowledgeable he actually is. My family member was a patient for nearly a week and he could never provide us with a diagnosis. We made the decision to transfer to another hospital. I would never under any circumstance return to see Dr. Thornton. It was an awful experience.

I like his relaxed way of examining you and wants your input. I was impressed with him.
After almost 8 years as a patient, I rarely saw Dr Thornton. Every three ou tof four visits seemed to be with a PA. When I go to the doctor, I expect to see a doctor. Plus wait times were out of control.
Dr Thornton saw my mother-in-law at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. He is the most caring doctor I have met in a long time. He is kind and compassionate and talks to you in terms that are understandable. We thank God that this is taking care of our loved one.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
