I was unable to obtain an appointment with Dr. Cowherd. I also was informed that he is NOT a doctor of internal medicine as well as cardiovascular which contradicts the description on his profile page. My former PCP passed away and I heard amazing things about Dr. Cowherd. I am so disappointed!

I've been a patient of Dr.Cowherd for over 6 years and have always found him to be a good listener, caring provider, and up to date in his field. Friends who are also patients of his also highly praise him.

Dr Cowherd, after a blood test & heart cauterization, discovered a 90% coronary blockage that my home town cardiologist had missed in TWO recent nuclear stress tests. Recommended emergency triple by-pass, thus saving me from an inevitable heart attack. I am not feeling better than I have in years.
