Dr. Blakely has been my primary-care physician for 4 years. He is well-trained and broadly experienced in outpatient internal medicine. He is a thorough, thoughtful, kind physician. As a cardiologist myself, I think he has an excellent grasp of cardiovascular disorders and the therapies available for them. I am comforted that he has been willing to provide me with excellent medical care since our first appointment.

My husband is a patient of Dr. Blakely . I have been with my husband during office visits with Dr. Blakely, and we have both found him to be knowledgable, patient, and attentive. He is thorough in his examination and takes the time to fully explore all of the patient’s symptoms. Through Dr. Blakely’s good care, my husband’s problem was quickly diagnosed, and the appropriate treated prescribed. We both think very highly of Dr. Blakely and recommend him as a physician.

He was very attentive to my grandfather and is very proactive in his care. Always kind and gives us his undivided attention.

I attended an appointment my friend had with Dr. Greg Blakely and was appalled at his behavior. My friend suffers from cognitive decline and Dr. Blakely was very cold and curt with her, in my presence. He told her she should not be living alone which is true. But he sat more than 20 feet away from us and seemed eager to leave (he sat next to the door of a very large room). Later, when my friend called to ask him to send her records to a neurologist in the same practice he told her he would leave her records where the neurologist could access them. She misunderstood him and because of her condition, told him that if he would not give her records to the neurologist so she could see same, she would talk to her attorney about this. Dr. Blakely's response was to go to the Administrator of the Clinic and apparently claim that my friend was threatening to sue him .. nothing could be further from the truth .. my friend has and had then cognitive decline and just did not understand. Despite this and despite the fact that Blakely had been her doctor for many years and knew of her mental decline he reported her as a legal threat to is Administrator and the Administrator advised my friend by letter that she was banned from Pinehurst Medical Clinic. Warning: older patients or anyone with cognitive issues should stay away from Dr. Greg Blakely who is a cold, uncaring, disinterested physician.
