I had knee replacement on a Monday and was walking with assistance later that day. Bedside manner was perfect. I highly recommend Dr. Moore

Dr John Moore is one of the best if not the best orthopedic surgeon in the Pinehurst area in my opinion. I chose him and the hospital over New Hanover and Cape Fear Hospitals. I had bilateral knee replacement on July 24, 2017. I am so very pleased and satisfied with him. He has an extraordinary bedside manner and gets in no hurry when discussing your health situation, well being and the surgery before and after the fact. I may require hip replacement surgery soon and I pray that Dr. Moore will be able to preform my hip replacement.

The office is extremely professional and informative! Would highly recommend Dr. More and his team.

I had a total knee replacement on 24 Jan 2020 (I'm walking mostly without assistance now). Dr. Moore and his whole team were great. Being a retired Soldier I was not use to all the paperwork I was given on the procedure and post-op. Dr. Moore did a bone scan and gave me the same three choices he gave the other reviewers. He didn't tell me to pray on it though. Wonder why. Anyway, being almost 2 months out I am still in pain, however, I am working hard in physical therapy and Dr. Moore told me to call him if I have any problems before my 6 month appointment. I am very happy with the whole team outside of the one problem with the assistant that I had to put in check.

My teenage son received care from Dr. Moore for his broken arm. Dr.Moore was very personable & professional.

Dr Moore is without a doubt an exceptionally skilled surgeon and has a great rapport with his patients. I had been turned down as a surgical candidate by another highly qualified surgeon because of preexisting conditions. Fortunately, he referred me to Dr Moore, who he said specialized in complex surgeries. Not only was my total hip replacement surgery completed without any complications, but last week was my 6th week follow-up visit with Dr Moore and I was 100% cleared to resume my life without ANY restrictions whatsoever. His entire team at Pinehurst Surgical as well as his partners at Moore Regional Hospital are all top-notch and their efforts are well-coordinated. Trusting your life in the hands of a surgeon is a big deal. Dr Moore and his team are hands-down the best choice you can make. It's too bad I can only give him a 5 star rating as he is in a class all by himself.

My visit to Dr. Moore was a true GODSEND!!! He was very knowledgeable, compassionate, and attentive to patient care.

He"s a great surgeon but I find his attitude about pain medicine offensive. I normally received routine pain meds from a provider, however do not have signed contract w/any provider. I was able to get enough meds for 2 weeks, then NO ONE would give me any pain meds! And what I take is NOT EVEN AN OPOID!
