Asked me for my symptoms. Made a diagnosis and prescribed a medication. So far, so good. Three weeks later, I called to tell him that the medicine wasn’t working and asked if there was another medication. He sent word through his nurse, “There’s nothing else I can do.” That’s it…end of story.

We first came into contact with Dr. Goertzl at Moore Regional Hospital in the ER. He resolved my husband's urinary retention issue and started consulting with his oncologist so there could be coordinated care/approach to his prostate cancer. His professionalism, knowledge and attentiveness over the past 10 months has been excellent. Highly recommend.

The best doctor that I have across during my lifetime I moved to Pinehurst North Carolina from Washington D.C. after retiring from the army and was looking for a doctor due to an emergency health issue and since I have been seeing Dr. Goetzl I have been getting better and better and his demeanor is kindness and care making you feel that you are in good hands and he is a blessing from GOD

My experience was driven by an ER visit. Dr. Goetzl was one of many professionals who helped me with my care at FirstHealth. Dr. Goetzl was the urologist who drove my care; he was very communicative and clear on my issues were and how they should be treated. Dr. Goetzl's solutions to my pain resolved it and prevented further complications. I still need follow-up in my home town, but I am thankful for the quality of the professional medical services and the bedside manner that Dr. Goetzl provided me with. I'd be very lucky to be cared for as well at home. I needed some additional details regarding my care once I got home which Dr. Goetzl provided for me.

Professional & caring staff much like the Dr. himself. He has been treating me for five years for bladder cancer and I feel he has probably saved my life! He always had time for questions and concerns. Today, he put me on a yearly visit as there were no signs of the cancer. I would recommend Dr. Goetzl without reservation.

Not a good doctor! He literally hurt me while doing a procedure injecting dye into my kidneys, I literally was crying, he never apologized or even said I'm sorry! I willl not go back to him ever!

This doctor is OK not great, not bad, but his nurse/secratary is abrupt to the point of rudeness. Pinehurst surgical has grown so much over the years and has so many patients that they have lost touch with us. They forget that we pay their wages not the other way round. l will now be travelling 35 miles to see someone else who actually cares.
