List of Mark E Brenner's Reviews
I was recently referred to Dr. Brenner and extremely pleased with the treatment. I am used to the assembly line approach at associated PMC and was pleasantly surprised to find that Dr. Brenner (PSC) seems to prefer a more private practice approach to patient care. He is a superb diagnostician, perhaps because he takes time to known you as a person. Because he actually takes time with patients, be mentally prepared for a possible lengthy wait in the exam room - bring a book and relax - you won’t regret it. He genuinely appears to enjoy his work, answers all questions in lay jargon, and will provide you with thorough, comprehensive, and understandable treatment plan.
Fantastic doctor.Good surgeon. He takes time to explain thoroughly your options.
Dr. Brenner is great! He squeezed me in, because his staff didn’t think I should wait a week to be seen. He was so kind, concerned and very professional. So is his surgical nurse, Carol. Dr. Brenner took very good care of my injured thumb. I would recommend him to anyone that needs a hand specialist!
The staff for dr Brenner and surgery center of Pinehurst are the most unprofessional people i have ever met . Making threats to prevent me from being seen at any of the Pinehurst offices. They I pass me back and forth and le ture instead of being compassionate to my medical conditions of which anxiety is one of. They talk over you then tell you stop yelling at them , even though I was far from yelling. Threats to have dr Brenner deny my surgery. Calls to the ceo get answered by the same staff who just got mare mad I made the call to complain. I have been refused to be treated and told its policy.First I was told if you are exposed to covid you have to be tested no earlier than 3 days before surgery, then quarantine for 14 days....uh then retest and quarantine again because testing. So surgery can't happen. Then after being passed around they say that person was wrong and you don't need testing but you still need to quarantine 14 days ....what? Why quarantine if you are not tested or test negative? Makes no sense.I try to get clarification since the response has been so confusing. And I get told they will contact you , ask when ,so I don't miss the call and they say I don't know.I am researching to find what other recourse I might have. My treatment by Dr Brenner's staff is appalling to say the least and has my anxiety through the roof. Disgusting. All I want is my pain and discomfort to stop.
My husband had hand surgery recently with Dr. Brenner. So far very successful. Dr. Brenner has a nice way about him that helps you to relax. His surgical skills are top notch. It’s true that he’s frequently late for appointments but that’s the nature of surgery. It’s unpredictable at times. Both my husband and I highly recommend him!
I waited 2 hours for my appointment. He did not introduce himself or tell me what contributed to my trigger finger. He asked if I wanted a cortisone shot or to schedule surgery without even bothering to look at my hand. I'm very disappointed.
Dr Brenner did a finger joint replacement on my hand and did a wonderful job. I now have a pain free joint that before was painfully swollen from arthritis. He's very friendly albeit a bit rushed at times and you do have to wait a while to be seen...but hey, he and his staff must be incredibly busy with all those joints to replace. Walk in there shoes for a while before complaining!!
We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes past our appointment time just to get out of the waiting room. No regard or consideration for other people's time. Very unprofessional.
never had anything but problems
Dr Brenner is very serious about his work and his desire to help his patients. He has done two different joint replacement surgeries for me both of which turned out excellent.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
