He is one of the best specialist I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I generally do not like doctors very much but he was able to put me at ease with a caring professional bedside manner and through diagnostics, he was able to explain things in ways that I could understand. He seemed genuinely concerned and invested in figuring out what is going on with me. He even called to check on me and offered referrals to a neurologist . He's professional and friendly, extremely informed, and very helpful.

8/8/19Everything felt rushed. Once he performed my surgery he and his staff treated me like a used disposable napkin. He tried to send me back to work without completing a post surgical follow up appointment and when I called the office, he wouldn't even take into consideration that I was having complications with pain. I work in a prison. I must be 100% when I return to work.8/9/19 After speaking with the office manager and customer complaint rep. I was able to get an appointment with Dr. McG on today. The appointment went well. The pace was slower, my concerns were addressed and my questions were answered. All I really wanted was to see the doctor prior to returning to work because I was having complications. This visit was a success so I'm changing my original 1 star rating to 4 stars. Great redemption Dr. McG.

Do not go to him! Whole office is totally inept. He could not care less about you, the patient. Horrible experience!

He said I needed a tubal litigation in left ear. Being the doctor I believed him. I felt dizzy & very off balance after procedure. I tried to tell him but he was too busy rushing me out of the office. I had excruciating pain that night & I called as soon as they opened. His staff informed me he was out of town & I could only see him & no one else. It took me 4 days to see him & he told me he didn't want to see me anymore. Staff & dept manager are just as bad & no help at all. Still in pain!

Everything was fine and got my diagnosis and was relieved to finally get one from a specialist. I did fill out questionaire but afterwards I wanted to elaborate on a question asked by Dr's assistant. I was asked if I was taking oxycontin. Maybe it's a routine question, but can't you see on my medical chart what was prescribed to me? I was prescribed amoxicillin and then cefdinir. I am baffled that out of all the drugs that are in existence, why I was asked if I was taking oxycontin? I was asked if I was taking vitamins or iron pills too, or any other medication. I understand you need to know what meds I'm taking. Certainly you wouldn't know what otc drugs I was on and you need too.I realize there is a drug problem and if I'm an addict I wouldn't answer the oxycontin question truthfully. I've been on antibiotics for almost 22 days and it certainly concerns me. If you look at my medical history you can see, I assume, all and any medications prescribed to me and why.What really concerns me if I was in need of something to relieve my pain, that I'd be suspect for some reason. I told my primary dr. I wasn't in pain, but discomfort. I dislike pain pills, though I did take some when I had fractured ribs yrs ago prescribed by Dr. Washington of Pinehurst and I only took 3 of them. I also was prescribed pain meds for a root canal that got infected yrs ago. That's it. Please don't go overboard on the folks who aren't abusing the system. And maybe that wasn't the intention at all, but with all the information at your disposal, I can't help but wonder why I was asked that question.After taking the antibiotics and still not being able to hear properly, my Dr gave me a referral. I'm thankful because I was sincerely getting worried after a month of having a hearing problem and feeling like I had a volcano in my head. Dr. McGuirt put me at ease and scheduled a hearing test and I'm thankful for that because I am getting older and probably am losing some hearing too.I'm not mad for being asked the question, but want it known I come for medical expertise and that's what I got.SincerelyCheryl Stahl

I had the privilege of seeing Dr. Wyman McGuirt at Pinehurst Surgical Clinic today, 1/10/18.Let me start by saying I'm a 64 year old male who is no stranger to doctors or surgery, having had 8 major surgeries in just the past 13 years, so I have much experience with a litany of doctors in various medical fields.None have impressed me as much as this man did today.He took his time discussing my medical issues in a easy to understand, concise way, pausing to answer each and every question I posed to him. He explained everything in detail and never once did I feel rushed. I left his office feeling empowered and not helpless to my medical issues.If I could rate Dr. MeGuirt higher than 5 stars, I certainly would.If you're looking for the best ENT doctor, you need to look no further.

Been seeing Dr McGuirt for about 4yrs and he has always been a very likeable Dr..He did my sinus surgery and all went well..I would recomend him to anyone . Thanks Doc

Dr. McGuirt was very professional. He was great at explaining the procedure and answering questions. He was very kind to my older daughter during my infant daughter's appointment. He brought her stickers. He is very nice. Dr. McGuirt and his staff went out of their way to make us feel at ease.

I have nothing but good experiences with Dr. Mcguirt, he is very compassionate and caring. Diagnosed and solved my problem with ease.
