The care staff is great, but the way my father in law's passing was handled could not have been handled any worse. To call my wife less than 48 hours (on a Sunday) after her father passes away to tell them you moved his stuff out of the room is simply put; disgusting.

If you find yourself needing a care facility for a family member, make sure you check out Avendelle Assisted Living. After several years at a larger facility, we moved our mother to Avendelle. The home setting creates a much more pleasant environment and the staff is wonderful. The staff at the home is small and consistent and they quickly learned the unique needs of our mother and recognize promptly when something has changed. The residents and family members are treated kindly and with respect. The home is always clean and smells of home cooked food. Avendelle has provided quality care, staffing consistency, comfortable living conditions and peace of mind. We are thankful to have found Avendelle!
