List of David A. Clark's Reviews
Do not go to Dr. Clark for any type of cosmetic rhinoplasty work. It's comical his bio says a "wealth of experience in primary and revision rhinoplasty." Anyone who knows anything about rhinoplasties knows that revisions are incredibly difficult and require another tier of expertise, so much so that many surgeons won't perform revisions and will refer to those who can. Dr. Clark's primary work is terrible so I can't even imagine what his revisions would be like. I had my primary with him and quite literally one side of my nose completely collapsed. In addition to the collapse my nostrils were very uneven. After reading some of the other rhinoplasty comments below I see I'm not alone. I have since had FIVE revision surgeries to try to undo the damage he caused. All the additional work has cost around $35k. My latest surgeon was nationally renown in revisions and the results are fantastic. Not perfect, because Dr. Clark's original work was so egregious, but for the first time in nearly 10 years I finally feel comfortable looking in the mirror. Please take this post seriously. As someone who suffered from SEVERE depression for years after Dr. Clark botched my face I cannot stress enough how important it is to choose a qualified surgeon for cosmetic work. I didn't appreciate this when I first selected him, I was young and just assumed anyone that wasn't doing surgeries in a back alley was qualified, since rhinoplasties are so common. After nearly a decade of research and conversations with countless surgeons around the country I can tell you that the nose is one of the most difficult cosmetic procedure performed and the doctor will make or break your results. Similar to the posts suggested below. Dr. Clark's bed side manner completely eroded when I wasn't pleased with the results - blamed it on everyone healing differently. Every surgeon I went to thereafter said it was 100% his technical skills. He had removed way too much cartilage on one side. They read his operative notes and said the techniques he was using were also dated. He may be a fine ENT, but that does not make him qualified for cosmetic surgery. Save yourself the financial and emotional trauma and seek out surgeons whose primary focus is rhinoplasty and face/nose/eyelids/brow procedures. My last surgeon was performing nearly 4 rhinoplasties a week - practice makes perfect.

I had Dr. Clark repair sites where I had rather large incisions due to skin cancer and Mohs Surgery. One was above my left eyebrow and the other was on my upper lip extending around to part of my cheek. For both of these, he did a fantastic job repairing, and he was so kind and caring that I knew that I was in very good hands. If you need plastic surgery you can't go wrong with Dr. Clark.
Saw my sister in law for a mystery chronic congestion she's had for the last 4 years. He didn't ask any questions, he peeked at her nose and throat, declared it allergies and gave her Allegra and Flonase. We were so mad that we immediately went out and scheduled a full allergy panel, again OUR idea, NOT his. She came back negative for all allergies. She has non-allergic rhinitis. How useless is a doctor not to interview the patient and not to try to find the root of the problem.
I did not want to do this but Dr. Clark left me with no choice. He performed a diagnostic surgery in which I was diagnosed with hemangioma. Subsequently, the same nostril collapsed with no way to repair it. His documentation never reflected this collapse, which he diagnosed me with in front of a witness. When I needed disability forms to be filled out reflecting this condition it was worse than pulling teeth. It was then that I discovered this diagnosis was not in his doctors notes anywhere. I have never been dismissed by a doctor so quickly. C. Y. A. is more important to him than of this patient's welfare. Dr. Clark, please do not respond to my complaint because the truth has already been told. Your canned answers, as with the person before me, will not be sufficient as well as the deflective nature of your responses. I just wanted others to have open eyes when choosing a doctor, any doctor for any sickness. While he has a wonderful staff, some were not surprised about my predicament. I have never felt I had to review a doctor so poorly but each patient should have the opportunity to access vital information from prior patients' that could help them make an informed decision. Do not take these reviews lightly. It takes a lot for a patient to go this route.
Terrible. I had a rhinoplasty performed with him that resulted in total asymmetry to which he denied was his fault and claimed I must have bumped my nose during the healing process. I have had 2 more revision rhinoplasties with another doctor and am still unable to fix the problem he created. Stay far away if you're seeking cosmetic surgery.
Due to skin cancer, I had to have my nose reconstructed. Dr Clark was amazing. I was very afraid I would be disfigured given how much of my nose had to be removed. I look just I did before and am extremely grateful to have been referred to Dr Clark. In addition to his skill as a surgeon, he was always very nice...given the trauma of seeing my face without half my nose, having a doctor take me through the process in a very caring way truly helped me get through it.
4th diagnosis from 4th doc. None agree. He basically tested my hearing and because I could hear better than he can, all is good. Never addressed pain, the migration of pain to both ears, etc
Dr. Clark attempted a repair for a deviated septum and a procedure to place cartilage in my nose to allow for improved breathing. I now have a lump inside my nose and scarring and bruising that are not going away. When I asked about these issues, he became defensive and his usual kind and gentle demeanor went out the window. To add insult to injury, I cannot breath any better than before the surgery but now my nose appears disfigured.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
