I was a patient of Dr. George Jr. for 31 years. Over those years I had multiple problems with my hand/wrist, had carpal tunnel surgery, thumb reconstruction & numerous steroid injections. With over 40 years in the dental field as a transcriptionist & office manager, I spent most of my days on a computer in some capacity. It took its toll on my poor hands. I had a first time visit with Dr. George’s son, George III today. He examined both hands, had X-rays taken & pinpointed my wrist pain. We discussed my options & he went with the conservative approach, which I’m happy about. No surgery indicated at this time. I know I’ll be seeing him in the future. He’s gentle, kind & professional. This office runs like a well oiled machine. Staff are very polite as well!!

Dr. Edwards is great...kind interaction and gentle manner. I would highly recommend him.

Dr. Edwards was efficient and to the point when it came to explaining what the steps would be to address my medical needs. Every question I asked was thoroughly explained so that I could make an informative decision about my care.

I continue to have recurring issues with my hands and as a professional pianist, that is very disturbing. In the last few years, I've become a frequent flyer (unfortunately) of both Dr Edwards Jr and III. I always leave their office having felt cared for, understood, and a plan for repair and recovery. Front desk staff, medical associates, therapists, and doctors are highly trained, skillful, and caring. I highly recommend the Raleigh Hand to Shoulder Center!

When I first came to doctor Edwards, I was in tremendous amount of pain in my shoulder. I knew I needed a new ball and socket and was working as a hairstylist for many years doctor Edwards reduced my pain to almost nothing and stated that I probably don’t even need surgery anymore. The girls at the front desk were welcoming and professional. Dr. Edwards took time to hear my issues with my hand and took appropriate steps to diagnose. I am very happy with the care received. The steroid shot has not fully resolved my pain yet, but I hope that it will take affect soon. I did have some bruising at the needle site, but I suppose those things happen. Overall, care was great.
