As soon as I saw this care home, I knew that it was the right place where my mom could peacefully live out her remaining days. She only had a month and a half there before passing away, but during that time I had confidence that she had good and consistent care from loving people. The staff there we're not just doing a job. I have only positive things to say about my mom's experience from my perspective and I'm grateful that she had a peaceful departure. In my opinion a care home is the best place for someone in end stages of their life. I was glad she didn't pass away in a hospital or hospice facility or any kind of large facility. She had her own room and her own things around her. I highly recommend this home for your loved ones.

Team did an excellent job of taking care of my father. He had suffered a stroke and required a fairly high level of care and they always managed to keep him comfortable and well cared for in his final days. Facility is clean and well maintained and Dad always said food was very good.

Deshaun hires people not only for their professionalism but a very high level of care and concern. The staff goes out of their way to make not only the residents comfortable but also the family of residents. The staff extend themselves and go beyond what is expected of caregivers. My expectations were exceeded and I was so fortunate to have found this place for my Mom. Laura of Raleigh

DeShaun and his crew are the best of the best. From the welcome feel of the home, to the warm, smiling attention of the ladies who work there, everything about Waterford Landing is top of the line! If you are looking for a 'home' for your loved one, instead of an institution, there is nowhere better than Avendelle.
