Dr Gupta sat on her stool with her back to me the entire consultation. I asked questions to the back of her head. She never extended the courtesy of turning around and facing me. When I expressed concern about a specific choice for cataract surgery, her response was shockingly sarcastic. She was dismissive of the less costly choices for cataract surgery, and seemed intent on up-selling the more expensive surgeries. The office staff and supporting technicians were exceptional. Dr. Gupta was not. Arrogance is not an appealing trait. She was referred by my optometrist, within the MyEyeDoctor network, and not by friends. She will NOT be doing my surgery!

Run! She will not look you in the eye during consultation. She will sit on her stool and try to up-sell the more expensive surgeries. Dr. Gupta is an excellent physician who has treated my dry eye syndrome and provided routine eye care for several years. Over a number of years, I had 4 different ophthalmologists try to address my dry eye syndrome. Not until I starting seeing Dr. Gupta did I receive successful treatment. She also performed cataract surgery on both eyes, which was very successful with no complications. Dr. Gupta combines professionalism with a caring spirit

I am from Denver, Colorado. Having eye surgery done by this doctor is amazing 😉. Not, in Albuquerque, Denver, Winston Salem N C have I meant a more wonderful doctor & Lady. I had an extremely difficult eye that only a doctor with her skills could do . Not in Denver with all its extremely great doctors, would I have found one like her.
