Raleigh Radiology's Online Review Report Card

I was extremely anxious to get an MRI this past Monday. I had already tried at Duke and their MRI machine did not work for me. I went to Raleigh Rad due to the MRI machine they have. I also didn’t want sedatives or anesthesia of any kind. The personal care was amazing. My techs Dan, Scott & Muhammad were patient and kind to me. Dan, for the entirety of the MRI, held my shoulder and when he’d see me freak out, let me know he was there and what was happening. They weren’t trying to be sneaky or do anything I wasn’t comfortable with. I felt respected and honestly they have my radiology business from now on (of course as long as I’m in-network). Thank you!

Appointment was right on time, no waits. Noticed the staff was very corteous with all patients. Jenny's service was superb! She was warm, caring, detail oriented and very professional. She even coordinated for a courtesy service, being this my first time at their facilities. Highly recommend this place!

The place is nice and clean, easy to find. The reason for such a low rating is the young woman at the front desk just acts bothered when you ask her a question. You speak to her and she'll look annoyed when requesting information.

Horrible experience! Would give zero stars if I could. WARNING. IT IS IMPORTANT TO MAKE SURE YOU ASK FOR A COPY OF YOUR RESULTS OR YOU WILL NEVER KNOW IF THERE IS AN ERROR! I have been going to RR for over 15 years for various scans and tests. I have noticed the quality has declined over the years. This time my MRI report was incorrect, still don't know if the MRI results they sent to me and my Dr was for me or another patient. I will never know, and I paid over 3000 dollars for this ! Technologist entered the wrong info at the start of my test, which was never corrected. I would not have caught this if I had not requested a copy be sent to me. The "History" was incorrect/for another patient, tried for 2 months to get a copy of addendum, they kept sending me and my Dr the incorrect report. When they finally did send the addendum the header info on each page was cut off. Unbelievable errors. DO NOT TRUST RALEIGH RADIOLOGY IF YOU WANT ACCURATE TEST RESULTS.

My 9 year old son had to get a MRI he was so nervous they made him feel so comfortable 😁

I really don't understand why these reviews are so low. My experience was great. From the check-in until walking out the door afterward. I want to say a very special Thank You to Dr. Taber, Erin, Laura, and Pam for taking such good care of me. I came in for a breast biopsy with imaging. All these women were so good, kind and gentle with  me. They all  went the extra mile to make sure I was okay and as comfortable as I could be. We as a society need to be more like these women.

Had a billing error but it was resolved immediately. Pleasant staff at this location.

BEWARE!!!  I echo other reviewers, the Doctors and staff were great, but dealing with the billing department was a nightmare.  I was seen at Raleigh Radiology for a procedure in the fall of 2020. One of the dates of service was 9/11/2020. Raleigh Radiology submitted that bill to my insurance company and then sent me a bill for my co-pay. They claim that they mailed me these bills on 9/30/2020 and again the next day on 10/1/2020. I received one of them (I do not remember having received two) and when I was in the office for a follow up appointment on 10/16/2020, I asked if I could just pay the bill in person vs. mailing them a check or getting online to pay the bill. They said yes, I paid and I believed that the bill was resolved.Whoever accepted my payment at Raleigh Radiology made an error that day, she did not apply it to the amount due and Raleigh Radiology subsequently turned me over to collections.I received the notice from the collection agency, and I called Raleigh Radiology on 2/3/2021. The person that I spoke with found the error, she said that she applied the credit to the "delinquent" bill. She also said that she would notify the collection agency that my information was sent to them in error and that I would receive a letter from the collection agency that the matter was resolved.THAT DID NOT HAPPEN!!!Yesterday, I was back on the phone with the billing department at Raleigh Radiology and this time, the person said that she called the collection agency directly and the collection agency never received an e-mail about the error.How is this ok?

Great experience! Pam the radiology tech made it a great first experience. She was detailed in explaining the procedure and made an anxious filled first timer feel comfortable.
