Renaissance Care Home @ Neuse River Estates - Family Care Home's Online Review Report Card

My step father had been in declining health for a number of years and a decision was made in January of 2023 to move him into a residential facility for continued care. Renaissance Care Home in Neuse River Village came highly recommended and following in depth research and a long conversation with Ken Ogar, we chose this facility. We have not been disappointed. The love and care that Ken and Rosalie and their staff provided for the remainder of his life was incredible. He was safe and comfortable and all of his needs were seen to with a level of professionalism, love and compassion that never waivered. My mother was able to see him in a home-like setting and to spend time and share meals with him just like the old days., Sadly, he passed away yesterday but we want to make sure everyone knows how happy we have been with RCH from day one.

I cannot say enough of the wonderful care and compassion my 96 year old mother has received at Renaissance. She requires considerable assistance in all aspects of her daily living, which the staff has provided seamlessly.

I have a very, very difficult mother who Ken and Ms. Rose have bent over backwards to accommodate. My entire family thanks them for their excellent care and patience.

This place is the most wonderful home we could have ever asked for. If we could give it 10 starts we would. Everyone took such good care of our father from the first assessment until he took his last breath. From the moment we met Ken and Rosalie we knew this was the place our father needed to be. Everyone who works here loved our father like we did and he loved living here. Our only regret is that he didn't get to live longer at this wonderful home. If you are looking for a wonderful home for aging parents-look no further. This is home.

Our mother recently moved to one of the Renaissance Care Homes. Our family is extremely pleased with the care she is receiving, First of all, the house is spotless. The staff is kind and patient. They are very respectful. Our mother is dressed nicely each day and looks nice and clean. They help her with all aspects of daily life, since she now has dementia. Living in this group care home provides much more stimulation than the assisted living facility she was in before. We feel like our mother has "bloomed" since moving there. The food is nicely prepared and presented each day. They make sure she is drinking enough water. Mother is diabetic and they handle are her glucose testing and insulin seamlessly. We are very appreciative of the loving care our Mother is receiving.

I can't say enough good things about Renaissance Care. The owners were wonderful to wok with, the staff was excellent. It is apparent that they care for the people who are there. Although my father wasn't there long before he passed, I felt at ease knowing he was well cared for as he transitioned. Would not hesitate to place a loved one in their care if ever the need arises again.

Caring and attentive care staff delivering exceptional care to their residents. Ken and Rose take a very hands on approach to ensuring their residents' needs are met while having individuals on staff that truly care.

The staff at RCH really treated my mother with respect and attentiveness. The facility was always clean and smelled of home cooked meals everyday. My family was instantly at ease, which was even more important with her dementia. We never doubted the care that she was receiving and it allowed us peace of mind as we lived our day to day lives. Furthermore, the families of the other became our family and vice versa. I definitely recommend their care.

My father was a resident here last year for almost 4 months, until his death. The LOVE, attention and complete care on every level (they even painted the door knobs white to match the door so to deter him from trying to escape. incidentally wasn't an issue bc he felt at home and safe and didn't even attempt to leave...) The efforts from the endearing owners, Rosalie and Ken, to all of the caregivers there (which are chosen and go through quite the process to be even considered able to work there) was basically a life altering experience! My father thrived here it was so evident that he was VERY well taken care of; his behavior changed, although pretty incommunicable for his advanced Alzheimer state, he was calmer, relaxed and at ease. Previously he had been in bigger institutions where the care was minimal and loud and confusing. Renaissance Care Homes offers the ability for your loved one to be watched/cared for/loved in ALL facets of life in a home setting. I cannot say enough good things about these ANGELS who cared for my father in a time of need....my family and i are indebted to them for their help in assisting my father (and therefore US) through a very difficult and hard time of life for him. Having him there allowed an unbelievable sense of relief and 100% security for my family. We just wish we had found them earlier in the process.
