This review is in reference to the Raleigh, NC Sarahcare on Lake Boone Trail. We are Placement and Wellness nurses, our company is A Family friend. Our number one goal is to ensure that all businesses that provide services to our seniors are being true to those services. By doing this we conduct unscheduled visits to all of the service-based businesses and senior communities. We are a private company and do not have contracts with any of the adult care businesses, this in- turn allows A Family Friend to conduct unbiased assessments. SarahCare was one of the 11 adult day care centers that we assessed on 7/15/19. We believe in unannounced visits so that we can refer based on realtime. When I entered the care center, I was greeted by the receptionist; she had no idea who I was or why I was there. I then asked her if I could speak to her resident care director and she then asked me to wait in the waiting area; which was very welcoming. Marcia Jerrell the service director was more than willing to speak to me about our services. She then did something that most facilities will not do, she asked if I would like a tour of Sarahcare. To say the least, I was highly impressed with the staff, there were activities going on throughout the center; the center was very clean, no foul odors and most importantly the residents were all smiling and well taken care of. This care center rates an A+ with A Family Friend. From my experience as a nurse of 26 years, you are told by administrators to only conduct tours that are scheduled so that things can seem to be running smoothly when tours arrive. My father-in-law attends SarahCare Adult DayCare Center. It is a wonderful facility with a variety of enrichment activities for adults.  The staff is full-service and absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend SarahCare for your adult care needs.

This is an awesome place for when you don't want to put your loved one in a home but need help during the day. The staff is great and very caring, the place is very clean and there are a variety of activities. Highly recommend.

I have never entered an adult day care that demonstrated such professionalism, compassion,a and care toward it's participants. The owner Marcia and her staff treat the participants like family. The quality of life of this wonderful participants are improved a great deal. I would highly recommend this business to anyone looking for alternatives for an aging loved one or themselves.

They have a wonderful staff and great director! Very caring and keep my husband busy with activities throughout the day. I can’t say enough good about them, literally saved my physical and emotional life. They are truly a God-send! Highly recommend!!!

This place is absolutely wonderful. Marcia & the staff are truly caring & super responsive to any concerns you may have. They really try to personalize the care & activities based on your loved one's abilities & needs. No cookie cutter care here. When we had to move my husband to an assisted living facility, I was absolutely blown away by the difference in the attention & caring shown by the staff & administration of the assisted living facilities. Sarahcare's staff spoiled us & we have not even come close to finding this level of caring anywhere else. I would recommend them without hesitation. You will not be disappointed!
