We did our homework for 2 years before deciding on the Oaks at Whitaker Glen. Checked out so many places, none came near on any of the boxes we needed checked. By far, the nicest, most genuine staff and administrators around. REAL people, quick to address concerns. Low key, low pressure. We anxiously await their call telling us "your space is ready". Tick, tock

I can say that the kitchen staff and dining room manager and food is great!! The Oaks at Whitaker Glen is a family felt environment. The administration is great. And we love the new executive director.

Mom has been here 9 years. It has been a wonderful experience for her. Great food and services, shout out to Donna, Jessica, Kristy, Scott, Carlos, Rama, Quianna, Marche, Elizabeth, Maya, Trinity and every one I've interacted with here. We will never forget the level of service we have received. I highly recommend!!!

As a vendor who works with this facility, I can say that this a truly a first-class facility. We were hired on to perform repair work for them when they were in a holiday pinch to get their equipment back up and running. They came to us desperate for a fix and we worked in lock step together with their facility management to get the fix in place and have their equipment back up and running. I highly recommend The Oaks at Whitaker Glenn and hope to continue working with them well into the future.

A beautiful campus full of mature oak trees in the middle of Raleigh’s historic five points. It’s a must see for anyone interested in a CCRC. Tenured warm, friendly staff. This is a beautiful property with outstanding staff and a welcoming environment. They have amazing activities and a wonderful dining experience.

My parents and I have been invited to walk the grounds at The Oaks at Whitaker Glen, casually experience events (speakers, music, etc.) that were sponsored for the residents, and have even enjoyed a meal with Donna Hill (Assisted Living Administrator) and other residents. Mealtime can be a good indicator of the overall mood for people that live and work in a place. With that in mind; most of the tables were occupied by residents enjoying the GREAT food and the room was filled with the sound of light-hearted conversation. The support staff were actively present and helpful and kind to all. Of note, it was apparent that Donna and the support staff truly know EVERYONE, which is key to residents feeling like they are “seen” and “belong”. The Oaks at Whitaker Glen should be a “must visit” for anyone that is preparing for that next step in life.
