I nominate Marie to be The Visiting Angel because she is a kind and gentle person that has a true feeling to help the sick and disabled. She came into our home to help me care for my wife. She took a positive lead to do all those things to keep my wife clean, comfortable, fed, and provide companionship and a good attitude. Marie has done her duties extremely well allowing me to leave my home with trust that my wife was well care for. She is truly an Angel that comes to Visit, above and beyond the call of duty. The responsibilities of being the sole caregiver for an aging family member are overwhelming, even under the best of circumstances. Factor in a lifelong physical and intellectual disability like autism, and the “overwhelming” can become relentless, unforgiving, and crushing. You rarely get a break. You never get a “thank you”. You worry whenever your person is out of your sight, because bad things have happened. You learn quickly not to trust anyone. You learn quickly that no one’s got your back. But with Sarah from Visiting Angels – who is now my uncle’s other favorite person – I am learning I can trust, and my uncle is learning the same thing after too many years of not being able to trust anyone (not even some family members, sadly). Sarah has my back when I can’t be there for him. She’s his advocate and she helps him do the things he wants and needs to do to stay active and engaged. And she does it with kindness and patience. She is truly, our “Angel”. I thank her and the entire team at Visiting Angels for answering my prayers.

Patricia is the best!! She takes care of my grandmother 5 days a week while I am working and my grandmother has been happy and active with her. Patricia does a lot for my grandmother as she is 96 and has had 3 strokes in a year. My grandmother is clean, well dressed, cared for, and most of all, she is happy!! A bigger bonus is that I have 2 Great Danes that also love her (I think it's the treats... lol). I am very happy to have Patricia here taking care of my grandmother and would recommend her to anyone in the future (my grandmother needs her now!!).

Frank Swanson has been helping my grandpop once a week for over a month now. He is always on time and anticipates my grandpop's needs. My grandpop never has to ask him to do something; he knows what he needs and gets it done! Frank never leaves his side and takes him to run whatever errands he needs to. Every angel my grandpop has worked with has been amazing, but he has very much enjoyed working with Frank!

Love the office, love the caregivers, love the clients! There is a reason Visiting Angels is an award-winning agency year after year!

Wonderful company. Office staff is caring and supportive. Caregivers have a great deal of compassion and empathy for clients! Our family loves working with Rebecca!

Update: The invoice was promptly corrected. I had a conversation with a manager regarding additional training for new staff member. I still can't say enough about the caregiver, Karen. She was wonderful with my mom. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a caregiver. We may or may not use Visiting Angels in the future. The caregiver assigned to my mom was great. The low rating is due to their incorrect billing and the attitude of one individual in their office that I had to deal with due to incorrect billing. This is the second time we have used Visiting Angels for my parents. We will not be using them again.

It is my pleasure to express my satisfaction with Visiting Angels and, in particularly, Renee Barbour, for the excellent service they have provided to me. Renee was always considerate of my needs, safety, and welfare. I think Renee is the best that Visiting Angels has to offer.

Lillian has been our Angel for three years and we are so happy to have her! She is very dependable, caring and knowledgeable.

What an outstanding service with outstanding people! Visiting Angels helped me care for my 96 year old father for the last several weeks of his life and they were a lifesaver...especially Bernadette! Thank you for treating him like he was you own family member.
