I have been suffering with a disease for 47 years and have been treated at one hospital the entire time of ER Visits and hospitalizations. Over the past several years, this particular hospital has been extremely busy, with unusually long ER wait times. I decided to got to the ER in Brier Creek. I had NO WAIT TIME in the lobby. I was admitted to WakeMed North Hospital, where during my hospital stay, I felt as if my own family members were caring for me. The ENTIRE STAFF of doctors, nurses, NA's and CNA's, showed nothing but love to me and my family. I felt compelled to write a review. I will be going there from here on out!

Overall good ER experience. I went in for a very personal issue and off the bat, the staff were friendly. Now, it is an emergency room so I expected to be there for a while (I got there at 6, left at 11) and I feel like the visit would have moved a bit quicker if they were a little more organized. There are a lot of travel nurses/staff here and they seem to be running around trying to figure out the way the hospital operates. I didn’t catch my nurses name last night but she was AMAZING! Funny, friendly, and kind. I believe my dr was dr Kugh and he was amazing. Friendly, informative and made my personal issue a little less traumatizing. The only thing I did not like at all, while I was getting checked by the dr (literally spread eagle on the bed) a random person walked in the room to give my nurse an item. The dr kept telling the random person to wait and they just continued to come in the room. Definitely was uncomfortable! Other than that, this ER was decent.

Run away from this hospital! I went there several times for medical issues. Great doctors and professional knowledge, but misleading charges and billing. If you need to complain to someone or ask a question about your bill, they don’t listen. One person tells you one thing, but another person tells you something entirely different. There’s no consistency with the billing information and charges. My last visit, was horrible, and no one listened to my concerns. I literally felt like they robbed me and took every dime I have. I don’t think it’s fair that they are not clear upfront with how much your charges will be. I would not recommend this hospital to anyone. Save your money and go to a medical provider outside of this hospital.

I can not say enough good things about the staff here. I delivered on 914 and from the moment I got there the staff was extremely kind and compassionate. More importantly they were knowledgeable. Allison Tonya Mary Jasmine we’re all apart of my labor experience and all made it a positive one. Ashley and Lindsay was great in caring for myself and my daughter post delivery and so were the rest of the staff. I would recommend this hospital to anyone looking to deliver.

Thank you to all the medical personnel at Wake Med North I was rushed to the hospital at 1130 P.M. on last Thursday. Everyone I dealt with the security guard at the door the nurses technicians and doctor all were kind helpful and such skilled professionals I am grateful to each one of them and cant say enough good about how well I was treated and taken care of while there. You are all heros and I thank you for your hard work and diligence to become the professionals that you are

My experience was terrible I was referred to go this ER for a MRI because my symptoms were worsening after a previous visit. Katherine Brown Hardy PAC was terrible and had no bedside manner. She questioned my symptoms as if she didn’t believe me. She asked me to lift my arm and I demonstrated that I could not perform the task and she acted as if I was faking. She provided me with no information regarding my condition. I understand that the hospitals are going through a lot right now but she could at least show some compassion. You go to the hospital to receive care I left with the same pain and still no answers. It was a complete waste of time. I will never visit this location again.

After a labor that came on far more suddenly than we were planning for, the staff and help at WakeMed North were INCREDIBLE. All through our night long labor and the two days that followed, we were always kept aware of what was going on, what was happening next, and how we could help and be helped by the amazing team of nurses and doctors. Everyone from Dr. Evans and Amber who helped us during our night labor and delivery to Alyssa, Michelle, Megan, Lindsey, and Sandi (the nurses who took care of us in the days that followed), to the team of lactation consultants who were also so available and helpful, we had a great experience. To anyone who is having a baby soon, the people at WakeMed North made a new and scary experience a sweet time of learning and guiding as we took our first steps into parenting. Highly recommend!

I went to the ER first in brier creek the nurse there named Lisa was the best and gave me great care but there was one there name Betty that was not a very good nurse she was rude and I wouldn’t recommend she take care of no one I was admitted and then transferred to wake Med north where I had three amazing nurses Julia Madison and Kathy they were awesome and really took care of me I was on the 4 ty floor these ladies starting with LISA From the ER at wake Med emergency in brier creek to Julia Madison and Kathy are the best and should be commended on how they take care of their patients they a phlebotomist that’s kinda rude but theses ladies make up for all of the rudeness I endured during my stay thanks again LISA MADISON JULIA and KATHY you ladies set the bar extremely high thank for taking care of me ❤️

Every single person I encountered from the moment I arrived until I left was amazing So kind and compassionate. Cheerful friendly helpful and empathetic. So many smiles I received EXCELLENT care from some EXCELLENT people.
