basically experience with them. they did not respond like they said they would called them around 1PM they never called back. called them at 1:30 am they did not arrive until 2:40am and we are only 5 minutes away from them.

We cannot say enough good things about Richmond County Hospice, including the Hospice Haven. They were incredibly compassionate during a time that felt so painful for us. Our father passed away at the Hospice Haven and we continue to. be grateful for the many ways in which they cared for him and for us. We look forward to making annual contributions to them so that they can continue to provide this service to our neighbors in Richmond County. They are a true gem.

This Hospice Organization responded during the ongiong national pandemic with patient and staff health and safety at the forefront of their Covid-19 plan. Patients continued to receive excellent, compassionate care from caring, dedicated Healthcare professionals in all disciplines. Richmond County Hospice and Haven honour the patient and families needs and desires during this pandemic and transition time.

Our family cannot say enough about Richmond County Hospice, including the Hospice Haven. The ways in which our entire family was cared for, especially during a time that was so painful for us, was exceptional. The staff will carry a permanent place in our hearts. If anyone is looking for an organization to donate to, we hope they will consider making a donation here so that they can continue to provide this service for many years to come.

Wonderful caring staff, they would come out anytime we needed anything. They made sure we had everything we needed to care for our daddy. I love everyone of them.

If we had had more time, we would have moved my Grandfather from this facility. Day staff nurses were inconsiderate, rude, and loud when entering the rooms. They offered no type of explanation for how things were going or what the expectations were. My Grandfather entered Hospice on a Friday night. They did not give us any type of brochure, paperwork, or pamphlet until Monday evening. That information would have been nice to know when we got there. Instead we sat scared, and feeling helpless as my Grandfather passed before us and we were not told what to look for, etc.Nurses played on their phones the majority of the time or were searching Pinterest instead of doing their jobs. Management really needs to look into how this facility is being ran because if we are put in this situation again, we will definitely be choosing a different facility.

My mom was at Richmond county hospice back in 2014. They whole entire staff took great care of her the short time she was there. Would like to especially recognize Hollie Smith, who is a dear friend and was a great support system for me during the difficult time!!
