List of Nash Unc Health Care's Reviews
I found all staff to be professional polite and knowledgeable during my stay there. They seemed eager to cover all aspects of my care. Even during this pandemic the hospital was clean and safefeeling.
the team I had on the 4th floor were outstanding Wonderful bedside manners from housekeeping to the nursing assistant to the nurse attending to me to my doctors I mean everybody. I received awesome care during my stay here. Now my food on the other hand was not so great but I have learned to pick my battles and I choose my health over all. Thank you guys
This place should be ashamed of the way they operate. My sister was worried about her pregnancy because she had intense cramps and nausea. I wrote down that she was pregnant on the sheet at check in and we told triage nurse as well but the nurses in the ER acted like they hadn’t heard that yet and neglected to tell us she needed a positive pregnancy test result BEFORE they could do an ultrasound until we had already been there at least three hours and by then she was too weak and dizzy to get to the bathroom. She went ahead with the urine sample later when she started feeling better but the nurse who took her left her there and she was disoriented coming out trying to find her room again by herself. We were there for seven hours in total just for them to finally do an ultrasound say the baby was fine and send us home with nausea meds. A complete waste of time. Additionally a nurse or tech at the counter was incredibly rude and dismissive when I asked where our nurse was and the second doctor she saw had terrible bedside manner and acted like we were just wasting HIS time. I am disgusted.
THIS IS THE WORSE HOSPITAL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. THEY DON’T CARE ABOUT NO PATIENTS Literally sat in the lobby for 45 hours WORSE PLACE EVER
Due to car issues combined with the fact I can barely walk I was THREE minutes late to register for my MRIwas suppose to arrive at 1015 walked in at 1018 for MRI that was scheduled for 11A. This is MRI is VERY important to see if the rods in my leg have become infected due to extreme swelling and my leg turning black and to see if I need to have immediate surgery. I explained all of this to the receptionist who contacted scheduling. I explained the seriousness of the situation to her which she showed absolutely no concern put me on hold while I was talking and made an appointment a month away. This is unacceptable. This could turn into something life threatening and all because life happened and I was THREE minutes late. This a totally unacceptable way to treat patients anyone really. Everyone has told me to find somewhere else to go other than Nash and now I see why. 😡😡😡
They are the worst hospital in eastern NC amp I recommend going anywhere else. They do not care for the patients or the families.
Explain to me why would you put rails up on both side of bed and leave the nurse call button hanging on wall and door shutwith know one in room with me so what if myproblem got worst and change.Verry unprofessional.Safety should always be a key factorWith patients. Then nurse comes in give two shot and tel me to stay for another 30 minutes to see if Im having a allergic reaction to med No call button giving still wow only at Nash UNC hospital.
The staff was EXTREMELY rude and very unprofessional. My best friend was there 2 days ago for COVID testing and she was having swelling in her legs. She asked a nurse Kathleen for a blanket several times never got the blanket but got plenty of attitude. Then the nurse came in to swab for COVID but with attitude of course so she violently shoved the swabs up her nose which my friend yelled out a curse word bc it hurt so the nurse had the dr come in and then it really went down hill. Dr Jeffrey Drew Anderson he was very angry rude condescending and was cussing at her. She was trying to tell him what had happened that she was extremely sick didnt feel well asked for a blanket several times bc she was shivering he was not trying to hear anything she was trying to tell him and he remanded that she leave. So she left out of there legs still swollen and extremely sick. They have no compassion for the sick and injured no bedside manners at all. Disgusting Id almost rather face a heart attack head on than to be subjected to that type of treatment ever
There emergency room weight time is longer than any hospital I have ever been too.. 8 hrs before they call u into the back unless ur having a heart attack then u spend 2 hrs waiting for MD. All in all for sinus infection 14 hrs... SMH I was told u have to be a level II in order to be seen in a timely manner..
Tried writing this review before and it got sent straight to filtered. Here goes another attempt.I was a patient here and was treated so appallingly by a certain nurse that another RN who overheard urged me to formally complain. She supplied me with paper and pen and I wrote the complaint which she then handdelivered to the unhinged nurses superiors. I was later updated the unhinged nurse was given a warning and a note placed in her personnel record. Not long after I ran into this nurse at a gas station. She was leaving as I was entering. She and the people with her proceeded to get in my face and call me names like White B and cracker original eh. They yelled racial slurs and accused me of trying to have her fired. I didnt have my cellphone on my person so was unable to record her.So apparently Nash Hospital retains unhinged nurses. This nurse needs mental counseling and probably some heavy duty meds. She really has no business working in healthcare or with people period.I will never utilize the services of this hospital again. Most people advise you avoid it anyway and go to Greenville or Raleigh for hospital needs.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
